TRAINS IN JACK LONDON SQUARE, MAINLY AMTRAK, PLENTY OF EMD F40s AND A VERY OLD AMTRAK SWITCHER. APOLOGIES IN ADVANCE FOR THE QUALITY BUT THIS IS OLD ANALOG TAPE STUFF I FOUND AND WHICH I'VE DIGITISED. THE QUALITY IS NOT GREAT BUT IN SPITE OF THIS I VERY MUCH HOPE THAT YOU ENJOY THE VIDEO.

Wow. Great pre merger footage from 1996. Reminds me of the railfanning I've done over the years at Jack Lomdon Square. I digitized all my footage years ago onto a Portable HD. My 8mm and Hi8 film is still good though. 👍
Love seeing how long the Zephyr was,were lucky if the Zephyr or Starlight even has 8 cars today,usually its more like 6 or 7 under todays Ammanagement style

CDTX 2002 of 1996 sounds just like CDTX 2007 of today.
I didn't even know they used f40s on Amtrak Capital corridor.
Why was the f40ph leading the Capitol Corridor?
Illegal move climbing over the parked freight train,dangerous too!!!
