Large Tree Removal Using a bucket truck and Tree Climber.
So this was a Oak tree we took down in delta pa, it was really steep rough terrain. The Oak Tree to be Removed was 90ft +
I was happy with the tree removal having a desirable rigging point. Everything went smooth, don't make make fun of the old bucket truck, that high ranger is super reliable, but there are just some things the bucket truck cannot reach, so the climber must climber higher in order to remove the tree sections safely.

Great job. I think that's an oak though isn't it? And do the running bowlines ever slip on you? I see a lot of guys follow it up with a half hitch.

It's a hickory, I will add a half hitch on situations where needed, such as rigging sycamore trees. Sycamore trees have slippery bark, so the running bowling can slip off before the running bowling sinches down. Another scenario example of when I would use a half hitch with a running bowling is when I am negative rigging. Other then that a bowling is a reliable knot when used correctly , tied right, and sinched down! I think alot of people forget to sinch it. And thank you for the comment
when your cutting close to where you have the piece tied. I have had the piece barber chair open the running bowlin up pop right out the knot.
