Sterbans voice isn't just great, it is truly a phenomenon. At this stage in his life his voice was like the bass section of an orchestra. Unbelievable the depth and resonance. The group is a national treasure.

Yes they are ! The Oakridge Boy's are like family with mine . I've known them for over 50 years . Many years ago , my Late Father had Thanksgiving concerts . The Oaks were the most requested back then . Not only did we have T.G. dinner , would would go out into a close field and play touch football together with my extended family .

This song could not be any more true for me. When my Mother passed I didnt make it in time to say my I Love, I Thank You I just never had the chance. It does hurt, but ya know as long as I am alive My Mother Will Never Die.

Duane Allen told me last evening that this is not a love song . The music writer wrote this song day's after his own father passed away . It's a tribute to his father . He went on to say people can use it either way , Sadly , The song writer died of Leukemia at the age of 46 years old .

This is not a feel-good song. It's a therapy song. He is singing of someone who died. This beautiful ballad reaches down into the most painful places in you and massages them, and after you cry it all out of your system, you will feel better. Guaranteed.

We never said goodbye after 22 years, she just left. (no note, nothing,) Left me to figure it out and it's breaking my mind. Don't do that even if you really dislike the other person, it's been two years and I'm stilling wondering what I did that was so deserving of this misery...it won't go away.

I hope you're doing well since leaving this comment.. but I feel the need to tell you when a person leaves like that or "breaks up" with another person.. it's never ever anything you did wrong.. never.. it's about THEM and how they feel.. nothing you could say or do would make someone stay or go ..that person had to do what they needed to do for personal reasons.. it's always them.. not you! Bless you dear heart ❤️

Lyrics Sometimes I feel a wave Of a past break in my mind And I know it's gone for good And it makes me want to cry Is this all we get to keep As the years go rollin' by Just a memory For all the days gone by Oh, you're always in my heart And you're often on my mind I will never let it die Just as long as I'm alive Sometimes it makes me sad That we never said goodbye Well I guess it never hurts To hurt sometimes You try and hold on to the moment But time won't let you stay But for every step you take You lose something on the way You can't look forward to tomorrow And still hold on to yesterday Oh, I hope that you can hear When I'm saying Oh, you're always in my heart And you're often on my mind I will never let it die Just as long as I'm alive Sometimes it makes me sad That we never said goodbye Well I guess it never hurts To hurt sometimes Oh, you're always in my heart And you're often on my mind I will never let it die Just as long as I'm alive Sometimes it makes me sad That we never said goodbye Well I guess it never hurts To hurt sometimes Oh, I guess it never hurts To hurt sometimes Songwriters: Randall Edwin Van Warmer / Randy Van Warmer
