Thank you for sharing! I visited Oahu this past summer and loved the vegan options I was able to find. The blue majick bowl at Haleiwa Bowls was my favorite too!

This video was custom made for my twins. My girls are vegetarians and their grandmother is from Kahuku. The last time we visited, we ate at a place called Farm to Barn several times. Now, they have more options. Thanks for the delicious recommendations.

Awesome video! My wife and I hit up Haleiwa bowls every morning so far and we’ve had Raised by the waves twice now. We’ve had the suggested foods and all have been fantastic.

Hopefully you don’t mind me updating as my wife and I will be here for 5 more days. We visited Gordo’s yesterday and today as you can tell we liked it. My wife’s a vegan and I am not so this was a great stop. We both had street tacos, she had vegan asada with beans and rice. I had regular asada Friday night. Saturday night we returned and I added beans and rice to both street taco plates this time. The beans and rice were both flavorful, we added the Mojado burrito (wet) vegan and regular carnitas. WOW! We’re both very happy and stuffed. The service was fantastic also. I can say that I’m impressed with all the vegan foods. I’m wanting my wife to enjoy dining as much as I am while we’re here and your video has made that possible the past five days.

Is it necessary to get a rental car while visiting the Island?

  • @TreyDaze

You 100% need a rental car. Public transit is a nightmare and ride share costs will add up. Plus there are so many places to pull off the road and see like lookouts.
