Honestly Jinjo is just a better bboy crew and this is coming from a popper who loves musicality. MOO is great and I loved them the first time I saw them too, but if you look closely, Jinjo is just so much more solid. They also have sick routines just like MOO so that gives them the edge.

I like how Skim confidently walks out and looks everyone in MOO in the eye. True crew leader mentality right there

Seriously? Issue, Cho, Code, and Pocket all stay on the beat. Anyone's who's played an instrument can see how well MoO can dance to any song. For Pocket especially, it's extremely difficult to move that fast while still finding beats to hit with a one-handed elbowflare AND finish it off with a clean freeze.

Jinjo's been improving too. They're letting their junior members get some battle practice in while the members you see here (wing & skim as well) have been coming up with new stuff, but they arent showing it off yet. a rematch would be so awesome though. Jinjo's hat routine and jacket routine vs MoO's 2 best routines would be interesting

I don't think that Foundation is accurately interpreted here. LOL I take it back apparently six step and some cc variations is equivalent to a 5. Look at Vero's set. lol

Guys who are saying Our system is getting disgraced. NO, just the opposite. You see how we all are able to question and hold the exact judge responsible for his decision, good or bad? And see exactly how they judged each round? And talk about it?! Brilliant! I love it! Couldn't be done with just arm pointing and then saying they know best because of experience. We can actually question things now and see who really are the best judges for jams. And I think that's awesome.

MOO brought out some new moves into this battle. I don't know if you guys have noticed but they're definitely putting new content into their routines. Jinjo was extremely clean, but they lacked creativity and that's where MOO dominates. The last routine MOO did brought the judges scores to a tie. Their last minute routine was creative enough to bring them up to par with Jinjo. Close battle, but I think I'll side with MOO on this one. #Pocket

honestly, maybe issue didnt hit ALL the beats, but he was definitely listening to the music. idk why lil john gave him a 1 (foundation) on both his sets -___- actually why did lil john vote morning of owl so low on foundation. morning of owl took this in my opinion.

What do you think on having on scoring at all? I thought that was a good idea cuz it would still keep the categories but it would take away in giving an official score. The problem with scoring imo is that one can always top the other and it cud become the same score, so why not change it so a judge every round can say, this guy was cleaner, this guy was more original, etc.

You do realize the R16 website said Foundation is musicality? They're not entirely different at all. Foundation is moving to the beat aka music. It also includes footwork but entirely on hitting beats

Everyone has their own style or way to express themselves on the floor, so a different foundation

I'd really like a interview of Lil John explaining what happened in this battle, cause most bboys had toprock, they didn't just enter into flares and that is foundation.

Musicality does fall in the Foundation category, which is weird how all the scores were so low. Maybe Lil John wasn't fully informed that the foundation category includes musicality, patterns, and finesse.

Lil John was a very suspect judge in this battle but the guy who came out after issue had way more bboy foundation... He was not bad at all...This was just a terrible point system

According to the scores, throughout the whole battle, Morning of Owl had absolutely NO foundation. (1's = none)

Yeah, basic power, freezes and tricks I'd include as foundation as well. But (imo), to show good foundation you'd have to exhibit most of those and glue them together with footwork, since footwork is core to foundation. For example I wouldn't call just windmills -> swipes -> windmills good foundation, even though windmills and swipes are basic power. So if you have little or no footwork, then personally I'd score you low for foundation. Which one was Mold?
