It is a Xoar 18x8 PJA Beechwood Propeller. It was the break-in prop to approximately simulate in-air performance of an 18x10. The header was made for an Evo 26GT/GX, and required opening the bolt holes to 5mm toward the center for a 1.34" spacing. Just the pipe (tuned silencer) as it came from Horizon. Macs Products (macspro) has a DLE-30/GT-33 header now (4210/4211/4212) and it is more open with a .875" pipe. It should perform even better with a full tuned pipe. I'm getting them to find out.

If you are building a speed model, the pipe would be great. For aerobatics, freestyle etc, the supplied muffler or cans would maintain your mid-range. I'm seldom at full power for any extended period of time - but in racing I'm sure it would be wide open.

Unfortunately they are no longer available ... Mac Products is no longer producing products either due the the death of David McAllister www.macspro.com ... The loss of David and his tuned pipes is a great loss to the R/C community.
