O'Carolan's Welcome - Doug Young - Fingerstyle Guitar

My solo guitar arrangement of O'Carolan's Welcome. I originally arranged this tune for a wonderful CD by Anne Bingham Goess (fiddle) and and Thomas Lindemuth (whistle), and you can find that version here on You Tube at • O'Carolan's Welcome . For this version, I changed the key to Cm and extended the tune a bit with an intro and interlude.
Performed on a Tom Doerr Legacy Signature model in CGDGCD (Orkney) tuning. The title bumpers were just inspired by the guitar; the back is so pretty I had to show it somehow!

Beautiful, Doug. I can't imagine this piece being played any better.Liked the tone, the intro, the variations, the mixture of hammer and pull-off slurs and cross-string picking, and the surprise change to the IV chord instead of the I in a few places. A consummate job!
