Wow! I like Twoody with his nose in the air and Jerry who's a country boy that can run with the big dogs. But, the three of Y'all never cease to amaze me. All master craftsmen and you with your almost David Copperfield ish flair for the dramatic; lol! Olaf can demonstrate his invisible violin repairs... Just incredible to watch you guys do the magic. Well done!

has anyone tried using the glue boost dyes with a different brand CA glue? basically, did they have to change the glue formula to accept the dye or is the dye formula unique and the glue common cyanoacrylate?

Hi there great video, will this product work on lacquer finish, and do you have to sand the scratch down first? I have a Les Paul with a nasty scratch on the back and looking for a quick repair. Thanks

Yes, this will work on lacquer. I prefer to sand before applying the product but you do not have to do this.

So do I need the white color to repair a ding in white finish or can I just use the glue?

$15 for a 2oz bottle direct OR!!! You could buy it from Gluboost through Amazon for $21 for a 2 oz bottle. $44 for the color kits.

I guess I should have been more clear. $44 for the color kit is outrageous. $49 from LMII is worse. Combine that with a $15-21 price tag on the glue and your almost 10x higher than anywhere that sells black tinted CA.

is it really 10 x's or you kidding?

Im not kidding. I wish I was. You can by a 2oz bottle of black CA for around $6.00 Regular clear CA is typically $6-7 as well. So at least thier plain CA is only 2-3x more expensive.

How would Mohawks powders work in the ca?

I am not sure. I have never tried using mohawk powders with Glu Boost.

OBrienGuitars they emulsify easily in acetone or lt or alcohol. Should work. Most ca’s go off so quickly, I’ve never had the time to play with them. Sure could get get subtle color shades with them.

I don’t know why but when I click to see the replies on other posts, they don’t open.

i don't know why, but to me this sounds like sponsored content. If so you should make it known to people. Or might be you are really excited about it and just bought the whole set. And as always as with all cool guitar luthier tools - not available in EU.
