Nz Sambar bro 👌🏾, what a massive effort for that one. So close yet so far away. That Inu wai looked like a welcome relief. Can't say I miss the blackberry, gorse and supple jack but I do miss those nz bush sounds. Thanks for sharing.

Good to see ya back in NZ hunting sambar, battery hedge trimmer makes short work of that BOP blackberry & hawthorn shit, gets me keen for sambar & rusa hunting this winter

They may have shot that yearling in the front shoulder, sometimes I only take the backsteaks , eye fillets and back legs if I've shot it in the front wheels. Young animal like that would be tasty too!
