I said for the longest time that I could never have a cop for boyfriend or married. I always appreciated cops, but am a constitutionalist6, non-conformist and rebel law abiding except a few teenage years. But, dealing with these wicked people business and unfortunate, I watch a lot of crime, interrogations and bios. Also, research the cluster B and serial killers. I appreciate cops more than ever. I always did, but I.can really understand more the men of men you guys are. I sing praises for you guys all the time. Now, I see I actually would have done well with a cop. I think I pictured you guys as prudish or something. lol. You guys are badass. Thank you for your dedicated and brave service. The risk and all you put up with is extraordinary. This video randomly showed in my suggestions. I'm an avid true crime junky, and lover of interesting people being interviewed so I'm glad I clicked/watched. I was up at 2am (couldn't sleep) and 3 min in I knew I wouldn't be falling asleep for a bit! It's so intriguing hearing the experiences of seasoned law officers, but especially one whos endured NY. Even after listening to Mike share for a mere 2 hrs, it's clear that he's a genuinely good man. He hasn't let the ugly, sometimes evil underbelly of the criminal world harden, or numb him into a cynical, miserable person. He's funny, a great speaker, and very humble despite his heroic, selfless acts of courage during the attacks of 9/11, and overall in cleaning up the community of drugs and crime for over 2+ decades. Absolutely could've listened to his stories for another 5 hours, and really hope he's guested again. Definitely gained a subscriber here

He starts off that way (as OP said) but he eventually, after about 40 minutes in, the rapport builds and he lets the Mr. Codella get in his story flow/the questions get more natural, less "I'm trying to be an excellent interviewer." I guess God's purpose for all those children and babies being graped was fulfilled as well based off the scriptures. Doesn't it say in the bible that God knows your years and number of days before you are even born? Or something very similar to that? GOd sounds worse than Lucifer, to have the power to stop evil but instead just give ppl the choice to either do evil or do good is diabolical. I've seen good ppl die while evil folks lived long enough to die in retirement homes. One of my friends patients grabbed her arm and told her he raped lots of women while he was young, he died later that week in the nursing home with a smile on his face 😢😅
How many of these heroes are left a dying breed? What happened to the world where everyone seems crooked and corrupt and no one has any integrity. Everyone is all for themselves. What an interesting interview. Good job, dude, God bless. Thank you.

I have heard this man interviewed before. He is very knowledgeable. The Satan element in Yonkers was investigated in 80s based on the strange twists in Son of Sam in mid 70s. Berkowitz lived in Yonkers. He was the fall guy told to plead guilty for all of them so there was no trial. Some believe a much larger group was involved all along. Because Berkowitz car got ticketed during the last of them he had to take the rap. An abandoned Untermeyer park in a Yonkers, since cleaned up, had rituals performed by groups at night. Some wealthy people living nearby were rumored to be involved. The tubeu channel in 2022 was making interesting videos digging into it, interviewing old witnesses and retired NYPD, one day he quit full stop without explanation. There is a book by an investigative journalist (criticized during the 80s $atanicPanic era) that is an interesting read. Poor Etan rest in peace. His parents never stopped looking for him. They never moved, kept same phone number.

So many missing people in america especially children, i would say that 80% are occult murders involving high profile people, nicole kessinger is in a cult and was no doubt involved in the murders of shannon watts and her children, they coined the term satanic panic to make everyone think it didnt exist, sadly it is rife all over the world and everyone in the upper echelons is involved that is why the police do nothing especially as high ranking police personnel are also members of these cults... Also I grew up in Canarsie, I also lived in Glendale Queens when I was older. I use to go visit my Mom and Dad in Starrett City, I would take a street called snake rd. To the inter Boro on that rd ther was a cemetery on both sides. One morning at around 1or 2am I was a light on thet rd and saw 3 individuals walking toward me on the side of the rd. .It took me a while to register what i was seeing. They were wearing red robs and hood climbing the fence to get into the cemetery. I looked into the cemetery and in a distance I saw a bright light that was a fire. I blew thru the light and any other light that was there until I got onto the Inter Boro. I still get creep out thing about it.

Love this guest. Stand up guy. We need a thousand of them. Fascinating interview. Try not to interrupt too much. You’re a good interviewer, but you need to let them talk. Less is more.
So refreshing to listen to engaging podcast episodes with solid guests, keep it up Mark!
Literally watched the whole episode! Great stuff! Please bring him back

Quickly becoming my favourite podcast. Love your calm manner and how you let the guests talk without unnecessary interruptions. Too many podcasters try and make the show about themselves (Julien Dorey comes to mind) which is really exhausting. Keep up the great work Mark 🤙

You're kidding right! He keeps asking questions he's already answered! Back tracking the whole time! Had to be annoying for the guest! Obviously he doesn't pay attention at all!
Thank you for sharing your insights & for your service Mr. Codella - the most sound explanation about SoS, The Process & Lantini I’ve heard. 🌹🙏

This guy was super cool , loved hearing he’s stories , no different then the movies!
When he spoke about making drug busts and finding these altars set up and it reminded me of some people I now know were associated with the cartel. They always had an altar in their homes.
Super interesting stories. I just wish the host didnt interupt to ask questions he just answered or was in the middle of talking. The interogation questions are woerd to me.
This pod is one of the best out here❤
Awesome interview Camp..good guy 💯💯🙏👊👊👌
Stellar opening question
Good interview, just let him talk though, you kept guiding the interview unnecessarily. Just have a conversation don't interrupt
Lol, everyone is bagging on the host and he's not interrupting nearly as bad as everybody is making it out to be?!?!?😅

Thank you for having such a curious mind Mark. This is awesome stuff. Much love from Orlando!
Awesome interview! I hadn't seen any updates on Mike Codella for almost a year. Great to know he is fine and still telling stories of his time in law enforcement! God bless.

Oh this was great. Very good storyteller for sure. Just imagine how many crazy stories that are out there, that we never get to hear, so thanks to both of you:)
Best interview I’ve seen online in years. Thank you for sharing and you’re bravery. Nice to see a good cop getting recognised and reminding people they do exist. A true humble hero! 👮🏽♂️🕵🏼❤

Great content, awesome potential here…as others have said, listen and absorb what the guest says and then respond when he goes quiet. Also, Mike needed water or at the minimum, a break!
