The fact that he took his time to learn your language in order to respect your people...how beautiful. And then hearing him speak in Yoruba to acknowledge his own people...yoh! Just the love, respect and representation of our African languages filled me with so much pride. And the outfits..the outfits...you two are so regal. Lydia I hope you know that what you are producing cannot simply be called lifestyle vlogging..this Nyombo series is, for me, a documentation of culture with historical value.

Many of us who grew up in the diaspora missed out on understanding the why's and how's of our native cultures. As we journey through life, we piece together fragments of our heritage where we can. You both choosing to share your cultural customs and your weddings through this series has helped fill in some of those gaps for so many people, teaching us things we never knew before, thank you! and congratulations♥
