TurtlRok its disgusting but that’s shit isn’t exclusive to sport. Every time a terrorist event or mass shooting happens msm news outlets put ads on their videos of opinions or analysis while discussing the tragedy. They have a bottom line to generate views that help their ad revenue. Thats why journalism has gone to shit they know rage click work they purposely write their narrative. Fox News, cnn, wapo, etc are trash. They want to ban fake news but they forget all that fake news that fox, cnn, wapo, nyt, etc showed during the iraq invasion the wmd’s all fake. Its a shitty world today unfortunately.

I only saw Jose Fernandez pitch once and that was that the 2016 MLB All Star game I seeing him pitch and just seeing that number 16 I was very luck to watch him play in person and that windup and his delivery. We are going to miss you. The next time the Marlins win the World Series it would be for Jose.
I still can't believe José is gone :(
I'm not a Marlin fan but this was one game I was really hoping they would win and I gotta say it was definitely the game of the year with the outcome with Dee Gordon hitting that homer

REST IN PEACE JOSE FERNADEZ WASHINGTON FAN
Two things I’ll never forget: Hearing the news from my dad seconds after I woke up and feeling my heart drop about a thousand feet, and how tears streamed down my face as the trumpet rendition of Take me out to the Ballgame began. Death isn’t easy for anybody, and when one of your heroes passes away, especially at such a young age... It’s so hard to grasp. Rest in piece, José.

Whoever's idea it was it to play take me out to the ball game with the trumpet after the moment of silence was amazing. One of the most memorable tributes ever.
i am new to baseball, and this is absolutely touching. this hurt to watch. the marlins lost a teammate who meant so much to them. i cry every time i see a replay of this. i couldnt imagine what they went through at the time. rest easy #16 jose fernandez. i know you saw that home run that dee gordon hit for you.
Respect
In the Military. You play taps. In Baseball. You play Take Me Out to the Ballgame.
Still today this game is unforgettable! It is a classic for sure. For what it meant to everyone, Jose's teammates, the opposing team, the fans, his family, and what it would have meant for him as well. Classic.
I remember watching this live...Such a hard game to watch. I still can't believe he is gone. RIP Jose Fernandez

He brought everyone together - Black, White, Hispanic, Red whatever - everybody loved him. I used to hate the Mets and their fans but I have acquired immense respect for the Mets organization and their fans. Baseball lost a great one! RIP Jose

Today four years ago you left this world but never the hearts of the people who appreciated, loved and cared for you back then and now. Everyday I think about you and your precious smile, El Niño. I miss you ❤
;( despite being a die hard Yankee fan, Jose really made this league feel special, he was a talented pitcher. I know Miami beat us in 03 but that changes nothing since I still enjoy watching Miami play, Jose's death really shook me. R.I.P jose fernandez he was a great pitcher he was awesome
i remember when this all happened. the night of jose's death, i saw him pitch at a game. the next day, when i came back from church, i saw that he had passed. my mom came to my room, opened the door, and tears were flooding down her cheeks. i started to cry almost immediately, and i ran over to my mom and hugged her tightly. my brother had just stopped playing baseball when this all happened, and he was devastated. i couldn't even believe that the night prior i went from seeing his bubbly personality to never seeing him walk the field ever again. it didn't even seem real. my family was heartbroken. after that, my middle school softball season began, and i wore #16 on my jersey. i remember hitting a home run and i began to cry, and my teammates surrounded me in a group hug, we all cried together. i still can't believe he's gone. i miss him every day.
Rest easy hermano😔

From a Mets fan, you are still missed to this day Jose Fernandez. I would give anything to have him face my team again.

I’m a dodgers fan, there’s no denying the fact that jose Fernandez was one of the best pitchers in the league, it’s something like this that really brings us back to earth, fans of the team or not, you really can’t be divided in a tragedy like that
As a Met fan I can remember the morning he passed, the Mets bashed the Phillies but nothing felt enjoyable. I'd followed him from his first Major League start and remembered how he dominated the Mets and than it seemed the Mets always avoided him due to scheduling. The Marlins have crushed Met fans hearts but I've always had a weird affinity for that organization and their fans from the days of D-Train and the Reyes brawl. As I look back time has made me realize how huge the loss of Jose was. I can remember his last start and the dark cloud around baseball for the week after he passed. Just a reflection after 2 plus years have passed, RIP JOSE PRAYERS TO HIS FAMILY.
RIP Jose.
