I really appreciate you retelling your experience at NY Fashion Week. I'm not a fashion girlie or an influencer (I'm 31 and I just started Grad School to become a Counselor), but I can apply so much of what you said to me and my experiences. Taking chances on ourselves, leaving comfort zones, figuring out what works for us, trusting our personal expertise and being open to forming new relationships is vital for growth across industries. You may have felt a bit like a novice but you brought YOURSELF to fashion week and it was EVERYTHING. I have watched the vlog three times 😂😂 keep pushing those boundaries Brittany, the good sis squad has your back always. ❤️

You flourished in the NYFW space! All of your looks were well executed. Your looks gave fashion week but still something you could wear during a regular night out or date night, which I loved! The adventure for Politics & Fashion was definitely a wow moment for her and she was ready, I would have been hesitant to do because I would have been fearful of going off without it not being on an itinerary that I provided to my children. Monroe was one of the first black influencers that I subscribe to and at that time she was still working for someone else. But she was providing information on how to in this business, and I prayed that she would be blessed because she was trying to kick doors down for the women of color and talked about the hardship. I am so proud of her. Your question and answer session was something different from you and you look great. I was pleasantly surprised to see you on some of the other influencers' video of NYFW and I realize that I had not been watching your videos lately. Life got busy for me so I have not been keeping up on KZread and trying to binge watch right now. I forgot how darn cute and stylish you are. I recently smelled the EDP Eau Fraiche and it is SO much better. I didnt buy it because I bought the new Fame Parfum (so good), but now I'm thinking about going back for this too lol ...On the main topic, this view is much appreciated because I think Monroe is the only person I've seen break the 4th wall and give a real breakdown of fashion week. People see the results, but don't know just how much effort and MONEY goes into the content. And no, you don't NEED a stylist, but it would've been interesting to see someone else's vision on you...even if it was just one look.

All of your looks were so intentional and were on point 🤍 This is a throwback concealer but it’s amazing… Kevyn Aucuoin Sensual Skin Enhancer shades 11 and 12. Both are yellow and extremely full coverage. A little goes a long way. And when done properly it looks gorgeous
