This was in 2000 so pre 2004 then in 2004 they changed the announcements to normal quality and pitch but with Jessica Ettinger doing all the announcements on the Lexington Avenue line trains including the Pelham line the Dyre Avenue line sometimes the White Plains Road line when the 5 went up there and the Jerome Avenue line. The changed the old 138th Street-Grand Concourse announcement to Jessica Ettinger including all the announcements between East 180th Street and Dyre Avenue. In late 2020 the MTA decided to go back to Pre 2004 for the 5 but with Jessica Ettinger and Diane Thompson doing the announcements and this included the 4 and 6 trains in this return to Pre 2004 for the 5. 1993 sounds way different compared to right now when the 2 used to R110As before they were taken completely out of service in 1998. In 1999 the 2 train was the only train that ran to 149th Street-Grand Concourse full time with a brand new R142 train, the 6 train received theirs including R142As in 2000. During the very first Yankees Mets Subway Series which back in the early days the Subway Series was between 3 NY teams the Brooklyn Dodgers the New York Giants and the New York Yankees. The first ever Subway Series to ever be hosting the Mets was in The Bronx at the old Yankee Stadium, at the time some old school trains that were originally on the Flushing line were sent up to The Bronx to bring Mets fans to the stadium while the 4 had the Low-Vs the High-Vs the R33 Redbirds the R26 Redbirds the R36s and then rest for the very old 7 trains just used as extra trains for the Subway Series games. After that all the nostalgia trains return to the museum for tourists to see until the next season. On those 3 nights and days the MTA let the 4 train borrow some 2 trains and add some coverings painted up to look like the Yankee pinstripes, these trains were seen on the upper level of 149th Street-Grand Concourse heading up to Yankee Stadium. At the time 4 trains had no automated announcements just manual announcements and this was before a number of R142s were delivered to the Jerome Avenue line to replace the older trains. A number of Mets and Yankee fans crowded into the loaner 2 train at 149th Street-Grand Concourse and headed up the 1 stop to Yankee Stadium. You can find a lot more information on this by visiting some other videos of this and the history of these trains and announcements
