Buying them for myself, last 15 years roi been great for me on variants. Takes a few years but the print runs are very low so eventually supply runs out and they go up. I am patient, not rushing to sell. I love collecting them. But I am not worried about loosing money on them either.

I am so glad I grew up in the time when comic books weren't worth anything...you go to the antique shop...ten cents a book for used comics...and Mom thought THAT was too much. Gotta say, I had a happy childhood when a pile of silver age cost ten dollars. Also though, lets face it, they were well worn and well read. Def NOT Mint but damn they were fun and well loved.

Well with inflation 10 cents could be the equivalent of $1to $4 today. Which means if you hit the dollar bin you can still get the same experience today :) I love dollar bins! Of course its not silver age books, but I assume back then Silver Age was not that old.

@@pop-comics Good point brother good point, and actually I was a kid during the silver age, and thus we did not know it was any age at all! It was all just comics..but even then we did Know The Galactus trilogy was golden in any age.

That is why you got to hunt around, some booths were too high and I tend to pass over the overpriced ones but then I found some amazing deals.

I think its a pretty inexpensive comic, but it has a great cover so its an affordable older sci fi book.

The one I think he is talking about is the painted cover which was reprinted multiple times with Classics illustrated. Not 100% sure the cover artist. I think the Gil Kane one was marvel in 1976 with the same Time Machine on the cover, I think I prefer the Gil Kane version but both are pretty cool and affordable.

The post-it note price labeling doesn't make it easy for the one-handed browser!

Its a story where one day every person on earth gets a genie with one wish, some wishes can cancel each other out etc. Then it takes place over 8 seconds, 8 minutes, 8 days, 8 months, 8 years etc. Its a very interesting concept.

They are all limited exclusives sold by the cover artist with signature. You might be able to track them down cheaper on ebay if you hunt, but probably not signed by the artist. I definitely like buying direct like that even if it costs a bit more. Helps them keep creating and visiting NYCC etc.
