I lived near the city for over 10 years. Many plays,musicals, concerts, and so much more! Have not been to the city since 2015! I miss going to NYC! I live in beautiful Arizona and will always have a home base here! Thanks for everything you two did, I had so much fun watching!😊
I watched to many kids movies, the entire video kept reminding me of a great video. Crossing the bridge "Your from the Jersey side of this cesspool" then walking out of the hotel, "The People, oh the people" Mid 2000s kids movie., Did anyone else get the vibe? Hope you and your daughter had a great time.
You'll get to see the troops in the subways. 😂😂 You couldn't pay me enough to go to either coast.

Great to see you enjoying time with your daughter. It was fun to see NYC, as it has been over 20 plus years since I have been there. I was there the year before the Twin towers were terrorized. I worked in New Jersey and went over to NYC with a co=worker for a day. It was awesome. I remember going up to the top of the Empire State Building and asked her what the tall twin towers were? A Year later they were gone. I don't feel safe going back to NYC, so thanks for sharing.

We know all to well about the trash on the hood. That is definitely a RVr thing. LOL! Thank you for sharing that awesome experience! We have the 9/11 Memorial, Statue of Liberty, and Central Park on my bucket list. I also would not eat a hot dog but I would be down for some NY Pizza. Thank you for sharing!

I've been to all major cities in the USA except that one. Wife went with daughter, I stayed home. No desire to go to NYC. Thank you for this tour. It was a good slice of the city.

You are going to love the Pocket 3!! I must admit I'm a DJI fan boy but, don't forget about their Action Cams. I have the Action 4 and love it and the Action 5 should be out soon. You might want to consider some ND Filter for the Pocket 3 tho...your choice. Great Video of NYC and it's craziness!!

What a great 4th. We were in Niagra Falls. NY is a crazy destination.
Fun video, makes me miss the City. Lived there for several years and absolutely loved it. Tip if you go back to the Met: there’s an awesome rooftop var with the best views of Central Park (and the entrance fee is just a suggestion so you don’t have to pay to go there). Some tips to get oriented in Manhattan easily: - Avenues: north south, count up east to west - Streets: east west, count up south to north; east and west from 5th Ave - Uneven streets: east to west driving direction - Even streets: west to east driving direction - Odd house/building numbers north side of the street, even house numbers south side

How fun Elena and I watched the Detroit fireworks from the 71st floor of rencen and the barges were directly below us. We watched them at eyelevel.

We loved the video, we try to get up to NY a couple times a year. Sorry we did not know you guys were going to NYC, our son, and his family live just north of Central Park on W 113th St, in Harry Houdini's home and he gives tours of it, we would have got him to give you guys one, next time you go let me know!

We grew up and lived in NJ most of our lives and had many trips into the city for sports events, shows, etc. Looking for dirty water dogs at The Umbrella Room? Do you think that was a Brooklyn Bedding Mattress??? It is NY you know! I drove a bus ( both commuter and charter) in and out of NYC for a few years…. Think it’s hard to find a place to park a car?? Try parking a bus!! Travel safe!

His knee does hurt him especially walking a lot - he has not had a new knee yet, just a repair....all the miles in NYC was a pain for him. He did great and was a trooper for me to see the fireworks!

I can't recall a time when there was such emotional disparity between both of you: Sheila was practically giddy with excitement, and Todd was miserable and counting down the moments to leaving the City.
Go to a hotel in NY and find out your RV is larger than the hotel:)

Going back for more was 1 of my better ideas. However everyone should experience that incredible city. To visit. Not live 🤮. Actually Harry Potters character owns cose to half of that city. So i jhave a story. Years ago I took a train from south Jersey to 42nd street photo in NY. Bought my Nikon which they put in a clear plastic bag. I then took a underground train back to the main train station. Ended up taking it the wrong direction and ended up in Jamiaca NY. Not a good section. Police man there took it upon himself to go with me to the main station. Escort service. Scary.
I could never live in a place with that much noise.

Hello What gopro are you using and are you using a media mod on it ? I have the gopro 10 with the media mod and mine has the same issue's as you guys ...Hope your 4th was great 👍 & Don't for get to switch it up 😊

Hey there- yes we love the 10 but with the mod kit on it - it just shuts off and we have to pull it apart to reset and continue filming. So frustrating the number of shots we have missed. We are going to try this new DJI Pocket Cosmo 3 and see how we like that. Will keep using the 10 just no mod kit

New York City is a fun place to visit (Boston is better) but I couldn't live there. Last time we were there was a month before 9/11.

Allison is our youngest daughter....she's been on a couple videos before but not a lot. She lives in Houston and was supposed to be flying home....but hurricane might keep her here with us a bit longer
