NYC MOVING VLOG | Leaving the Upper West, Hello Upper East
Hi Everyone,
After 3 years of officially living in NYC with my roommate, Jade, we've decided to part ways and get studio apartments on our own.
I'm excited yet nervous to embark on this new journey but most excited for the personal growth and challenges one faces while "living alone."
If you're living alone in your 20s/ thinking about getting an apartment all to yourself, I hope this is your sign to take the leap of faith and try it out for yourself. You won't regret it!

Yaa😅 My old apartment was technically a one bedroom with an office, I was in the office, so it sort of feels like I upgraded since it was very small. Our living room was definitely a lot larger than most NYC apartment living rooms so I do miss it. It’s also very rare to have exposed brick in your apartment so I definitely miss that as well.

What’s your rent in the new place? I’m moving to nyc soon so having an idea of the rent in manhattan would be super helpful!!

Hi! No worries at all. The time you plan to move in NYC really does determine your luck with price and what you get. I moved right before the big summer boom so prices were starting to rise while I was searching and this apartment happened to be one of the better ones available at its price during the time. That being said…😅 I pay $2,200 in rent a month.
