New York looks more interesting than I was expecting. The architecture is dour but the mix of different people make up for it. Last city I spent Winter in was Zagreb, Croatia which was great fun.

That pulled noodle house is good just not great meat but that’s not the star as it’s the noodles. It’s a tiny space but the dishes really good. I literally saw the grandpa pulling noodles and it’s an art. The dad runs the place while mom handles the dining room, the kids help wherever they can. Honestly pretty typical setup for a Chinese family run place. Of course the last time I was there the kids were middle school age so I don’t know what changes they made if at all. I did the same restaurant thing myself all the way from elementary to college always worked my parents restaurant after school or on breaks, you try doing complex computations on organic chemistry in the middle of a shift in a packed restaurant, it’s difficult for sure. Although I miss that.

I thought that restaurant was pretty good!

Most Hawaiian shirts are mostly rayon you know. You need to wear something underneath to make the look complete usually a white shirt works. These shirts are 3/4 rayon with cotton mixed in. Not for everyone.

The cash often ends up in the casino. On a weekend, the card room in my local casino was often packed full of Chinese playing mahjong for money. Or they'd be on the roulette with a stack full of chips.

Are Koreatown and Chinatown getting along?

I swear certain pairs of pants have terrible pockets for no reason. I noticed it that’s all. Even good pairs of brand name jeans have tiny pockets and I’m a dude so I have no idea. I rarely wear cargos because I never really needed them but the material isn’t great sometimes as I feel it. Never know why. I usually wear no brand name stuff because it’s fine but anime shirts or character shirts I use a lot.

Christmas is coming and you know Chinatown is going to get really busy with people. Every year you know. This is a good practice for the area as it’s going to be jammed during Christmas.

A lot of people are swallowed by the city and can’t get out. It’s the same with a lot of kids who end up in nyc. The city just isn’t very nice to some people because they come from very tiny places that have maybe one street or an intersection that has maybe a Walmart. They are not prepared for the crush of people nor the expectations of big city life and they are crushed under the pressure of trying to live the city. A lot of stories in New York are like that and these kids turned to just drugs and alcohol to cope and end up a lot worse than they thought. I live in Orlando where it’s fairly busy most days so I know crowds and can handle them. Just I need a break every once in a while to catch my breath because of the insane amount of people sometimes. I’ve also been to New York a few times so it’s not new to me and it can get crowded but I can handle it if I can find a space to catch my breath for a few seconds.

What’s the name of the song/band that plays at the start of the livestream?

To do the tax thing right you need a good credible accountant like my parents have. Honestly he represents some big companies but also does the small business too. He’s been pretty honest about his business you know. We have known him for years. Just don’t bother him when tax season hits as he is worked to the bone and very stressed and not in the best of moods.

I hope I don't see a mugging or a store getting robbed, or a carjacking, I like watching the Tokyo or Singapore explore videos, safe and clean cities .I just think NYC is crime crime crime I hope I'm wrong
