3 years after weed was legalised for the 1 percent to sell.... any weed not sold buy the profiteers is "unsafe"

well the state requires that you have a ton of money to start in the first place. You have to be basically a 1 percenter to start a weed business here legally or go into debt and make the banks money. maybe if they gave regular people a chance to make a business in the industry by not requiring hundreds of thousands of dollars to start, there wouldn't be so many illegal stores edited: this is an example of how too much regulation causes a black market because the legal requirements are too HIGH in cost to start for the average person.

They do and I don’t think people including myself realized how corrupt it is as well. I’ve had my conditional Nj license for a year and 1/2 and I cannot find a town or place to go between the fees they want and the acres and zoning. Even if I tried to rent landlords are on to this and want way too much per month. The real estate market only getting worse. I don’t blame these shops at all.

So start offering permits for them then? Weren't there only 44 licensed shops in NYC? We're dealing with the same problem with food and street vendors. These shops are going to lose business and shut down when their customers start going to other shops since they're able to offer both food and canibis. It's already legal and they're doing it regardless, so you might as well open permits up to allow shops to contribute to NY's economy.

It's not just the shops. In the Bronx, next to many of the illegal smoke shops , there's a guy or few with a table, sometimes even a canopy set up and they're selling literally next to or in front of the smoke shops, weed just out in the open. I work in a High school and several blocks away there's a several smoke shops and side hustlers around. They don't even look worried
