NYC HOUSE TOUR | Inside a Brooklyn Townhouse Filled with Color
This mid-19th century Brooklyn Heights brownstone has been marvelously transformed into a maximalist's dream. Picture walls painted in playful candy colors, plush velvet sofas adorned with fringes, vibrant Indian tapestries, and lacquered bookcases painted a bold chartreuse. The centerpiece? An exquisite original ceiling fresco with cherubs floating among clouds. It's truly a fantasy brought to life.
The residence is owned by Kelsey Brown and her husband Alec Simpson. Kelsey, a co-founder of the home decor brand Pepper, specializes in whimsical textiles, wallpapers, throw pillows, and much more. For this project, she collaborated with Nicholas Obeid, a renowned interior designer based in New York City.

the camera is so shaky and doesn't pan slow enough over things; hard to appreciate the space and take in all the cool details

The camera work on Homeworthy home tours needs some serious improvement... it's so hard for me to just enjoy the owner's story and their home when the video itself is shaky, or zooming in and out, or jumping around... kind of chaotic.

Wow, this townhouse is gorgeous! The architectural details are amazing, especially that living room fresco ceiling. I love that she painted the room two shades of teal. It really makes the fireplace pop. I’m so glad she kept the stained look of her fireplaces. If they were all white, you’d lose the details. Great job❤

Very nice but it seemed to be rushed and I would have enjoyed it a bit longer in order to hear about and see more of the details.
