I’m From LA but this type of Graffiti is why I fell in love with hip hop and graffiti art and the whole fun,funky,twisted, and cool scene of the underground hip hop scene back in high school(9th grade). ✌️☮️🇺🇸 Respect to NYC and the oldschool boom-bap hip hop generation! LA has its own cholo graffiti history but NYC is the Mecca of wild style graffiti & the true hip hop culture ! F*** the mainstream commercial hip-POP ! Sorry ! There’s a difference! The 90s and 2000s were so simple. Lots of the stuff on the streets these days looks old, but not in a good way.

that piece that said "turn around" and the camera pans around and theres a roof top chilling there hahahaha, man who ever did this back then was ahead of their time with showing off to writers.

Yup Both roof tops are by YEAR, and if your not familiar you can also turn his straight letters upside down and they still read YEAR.. Def was bringing some new ideas with him

s90 and early s00 had some of the cleanest pieces and throw ups. The style was different from previous years and now the later years.So many dope writers all over back then. Even the toys weren't so bad...

Fully Agree, I think its also similar to how Hiphop was in the mid 90's At that point the crafts were matured enough to being great, but not completely watered down yet by so much info being accessible where just anyone starts doing it. And many times badly without guidance.

Мне просто нравится тот факт что они занимались этим, хотя за это можно было загреметь в тюрьму. Они делали это хотя это было им невыгодно. Они делали это хотя знали что никому, кроме них это не нравится. Если меня спросят что такое граффити, я скажу что это были эти парни.
