I used to like flying but these days I do everything I can to avoid flying and stay far, far away from these liberal/communist states. I think its' time we just split the country in two - the communist states of America and the free states of America! @@whiplash7400 Try being a reporter without a press pass. I don't think that the current system of licenses for gun ownership is perfect, but having *some* license isn't unreasonable. Problems with system =/= problems with the existence of the system.

It's ironic how New York is flooded with illegal guns, but punishes people who do things legally.

A lot of psychopaths are drawn to be lawyers in powerful positions, and these lawyers get thrills when they get the innocent found guilty and the guilty declared innocent. Not really since CA and NY residence actually pay more in federal taxes than the states receive, whereas places like Alabama and Georgia take much more federal money than their residence pay in federal taxes. Removing CA and NY would kill the economy and the federal budget.

This happened to a friend of mine years ago. He like me is British and he wanted to learn how to repair guns and as you will know that is not a common job in Britain so he signed up for a course with an American gunsmith. Part way through the course he had to come back to Britain for a few days and wanted to bring back a gun he had repaired. It was all legal, he had the licence and everything else he needed so he rang up the TSA to find out how to go about it and followed the advice to the letter. He arrived at the airport, tried to check it in and was immediately arrested. The end result was that he was banned from entering America in the future so he couldn't finish the course which meant after spending thousands of dollars he didn't get the qualification he was aiming for. It might be called the land of the free but that certainly needs some qualification in some states.

The DA said “whether they’re made out of plastic, Kevlar, or metal”. Kevlar is a cloth like material, you’d be hard pressed to find a magazine made of cloth. Shows how much the people imposing these ridiculous regulations know about firearms.

EP114587 in NY u can own a firearm, but u have so many restrictions that the only firearm u can carry is a musket or revolver. Just like cali they have banned semi auto firearms carrying more then 10 rounds. All but one firearm i own can hold more then 10 rounds. These states banned AR-15 based rifles and AK based rifles. Y? So the hurt feelings squad can determine what we can have? I live in AZ and an officer here, u look at the crime rate here where its a free state to carry vs cali or NY where gun laws r crazy. U will notice that criminals love gun laws cause no one can protect themselves so its easy targets. And i have not drew my firearm on any law abiding citizen that has a gun on them. I believe in peoples God given freedoms, granted some officers dont like that but they r the few.

who me lmfao, u voted them in. Learn the laws first and then the duties of law enforcement. I take it government was not your strong subject. Its the courts that have us go out and enforce laws. So u have a group of people who obey laws that will not carry a firearm and a group of people who dont care for the law who will carry a firearm. Y do u think a police officer will draw his firearm at every suspect? VS an officer in a state where everyone carries a firearm where the bad guy will likely think twice before trying to rob someone or even shoot at an officer. Gun free zones dont work

who me local law enforcement cant arrest law makers for trying to pass laws thats unconstitutional. Its the courts that puts it into law. Blame the courts. who me until a crime has happened no the sheriff cant over throw the gov thats y there is checks and balances. Even law enforcement has the same. The sheriff is more about courts. Local law enforcement is more on local laws and fed is with fed law. Sheriff can over throw the fed agents but the feds cant come in and change state laws to enforce fed laws. When it comes to adem shift or how ever u spell his name unfortunately he has not broken any laws to be arrested, just because he has no integrity dont mean he can be arrested for it.

Don't go to NEW YORK. I was born there. I would not waste the money on going there.

She came there and stayed in a hotel while visiting, She does not possess a NY State pistol permit, therefor she broke NY law. The same as the guy. if you don't have a permit to carry a gun in New York, then I don't understand how the TSA has a different rule about traveling with a gun. I guess you have to know not to travel to NY with a gun.

I'm married to my gun. I feel naked if I don't have my gun on me. I WILL never go to ANY state that denies my states gun license period. I ALSO now have to drive to my vacation spots. I don't care if it take 3 days to get there. I do not and will NEVER fly on a plane if I can't carry my firearm on me. I feel like ONLY police get to enjoy the real 2nd amendment while us pesky citizens can't. If we got a license we should be allowed to carry anywhere INCLUDING gov buildings, airplanes, post offices & NYC

Basically sayin well we know now you weren't a threat now but we still want your money and were still gonna charge you with something and if you don't take the plea deal then you have to fight the felony charges in court....
