Omg Hi Elise! What a happy surprise to wake up to today! Enjoyed the video as always. That bag is super cute especially with the cheerful pink lining and all the colorful Vera inside. The shape reminds me of one of my favorite Vera bags I can only get at the outlet. I don’t remember the name but it comes in two sizes and I use the small one as a purse it’s kind of a duffle I want to say but shaped more like a bowler. Love love love it. I take all my sketching supplies, a book and of course my staples. Thanks for posting hope your dad is doing well.

I can’t picture the outlet style you’re talking about. I was just at an outlet store but was kind of rushed lol, so I missed a lot of stuff. I’ll be going back soon though lol

@@verabradleybagoftheday I looked it up, it’s called the carry on weekend traveler. It’s amazing. 16 x 10 3/4 x 7. The front has an outside zippered compartment the same length of the bag & the back has a trolley which I wish it didn’t have. It’s totally purse size if you like slightly bigger bags & the inside has 4 netted pockets (2 on each side). It has 2 short handles Aprox 1 1/4” wide on top & the top portion is rolled or sewn together. It also has a detachable long cross body strap. Mine is in Charmont Meadow print an old print & I absolutely love it. I used this bag when my mom was in the hospital yrs back before she passed away to carry extra stuff back & forth from the hospital & I found that it was so convenient that I didn’t want to change out of it. Definitely give it try if you get the chance. I know it’s not a handbag but I use it like one anyway lol. Crazy to because I have everything under the sun in the way of handbags but this one sticks out.

Hi Elise lovely to see you again. If you're going to get onto VB about missed opportunities...mention the 100 Handbag as well as the Glenna would you please? I love both styles and it aggravates me to no end that I can't buy them (of course, I'm in Australia so that brings with it a whole other set of difficulties, but that's a moan for another day :D). And about the Glenna....if ever there was a bag begging to be multi-strapped it's the Glenna. Love that bag. I would be delighted to redesign it for them, it could do with an upgrade. Okay, soapbox gone now. If my sister was still alive she would be cracking on endlessly about it, but alas, Covid. Anyway, I've been satisfying myself watching some of your older bag of the day's while you have been organising. Also been worrying if you were adversely affected by the recent horror flooding in NY. ....and now I'm rambling. Bye for now♥

I’m so sorry about your sister. I really don’t understand some of the choices coming from this company lately. They definitely could stand to offer some new styles. The new ones they’ve tried recently don’t seem that successful-there was that satchel thing that already seems to be gone and some new tote with two sets of handles. I wonder how long that awkwardness will be around lol

Thank you. I enjoy car videos with what's in my bag. The car effect brings a sense of adventure to the videos. I have not been in New York in many years. I feel I am there once again visiting when you go to the car and do your presentations. Curious, any VB boutiques or Vera friendly shops within ten minutes from your place?

Nope, absolutely none around me lol. It’s not surprising. NYC is not really the style market for VB.

Really interesting sociocultural report from the heart of NYC, with your take on the (necessary) preoccupation with parking and the issues surrounding housing provision for those who've newly immigrated. Please don't feel a need to curtail your "ramblings", they provide color and character in addition to the main event of show & tell with the bags. And I recognize your macaroon tote, from you having shown us bags that have lush photos of food on outside ;) Still waiting on your Whatever I Want Weds where we get to see the light purpleish pink floral totes that were hanging on your closet door a few videos ago...no hurry, just letting you know I remain curious :)

Thanks so much for being so supportive of my ramblings. I know I have to get to those other bags. I actually made a video of them a few weeks ago but I couldn’t get it to load up to KZread. The file must have been corrupted or something. I just made a list this morning of the video requests I’ve gotten recently so that I don’t forget any. Hopefully tomorrow will be sunny-good for filming 🤞

22:00 RFID Zip-Around Wristlet. It's okay, I don't remember off the top of my head the exact name for it either...I just save screenshots so I can locate the info. pretty quick (bc I'm compulsive about documenting stuff LOL) and by the way, I know you've previously mentioned the sound of Pixie snoring-but I hadn't actually heard it until just now during this video, and it's so funny !

Thanks! I used to be super prepared for my videos so that I knew what stuff was but now I just wing it lol. Is she snoring in this one? I didn’t even notice lol. I’ll have to go back and see if I hear it

@@verabradleybagoftheday heard the snoring around the middle portion of video for several mins. and it ceased when you (as you tell us in the video) accidentally woke her up. It's totally fine that you "wing it", I just like having names for things (or providing that info. to others).

Do you cut off the strap of the Carson bag you put your phone in? Mine doesn't come off...

The strap is removable on most of the Carson cellphone crossbody bags. You just slip it out of the loops that are under the flap. I think maybe there was a utility-type version that didn’t have a removable strap but I’m not sure
