Jones will not be a giant come next season, no matter whether he does good or not. He's getting paid too much $ to have w.e. production he will put out (even at his best). There is talent out there that can put out the same production at a WAY more cheaper price tag. I would go Hunter 2025 and Arch Manning 2026. And this is coming from someone who believes Jones is better than what most people give him credit for, but not as good as we need him to be for the franchise to win a championship. And you can forget about trading him. Nobody gonna take that contract. And I also don't see the Giants benching him and just have $40M standing on the sidelines. They are gonna try really hard to hold this shit down for this just one season and see what they can get out of it and go from there.

Joe and Brian can save their jobs by just drafting their own QB next season.

I believe when we make the playoffs you will changing your tune about Jones . Then you can reconstruct his contract so it won't kill us . Still draft a young QB to sit . If not then the loser in the Steelers QB race will be fine . Fields In the long run . And the other Wilson to a one year scapegoat . OR Jimmy G short term . We win with defense an a manageable don't make too many mistakes QB . Corner ack /WR from Colorado would be fine next year .

Anthony, with Jones only contributing 1 win last year, this team still won games, a couple more and they would have been in. If the Giants make the playoffs this year, and Jones doesn't throw 25 TDs, then it wasn't about him. Jones will never be the guy, he has done absolutely nothing to inspire that belief. A few good games against bottom 5 defenses is proof he belongs in the league, but nothing more.

He did what Jones did the year before, best some bad teams, best one good team (GB) and lost to good teams and got sacked a lot. If an organization committed to DeVito for 5 straight years as starter, I am sure he would be better than Jones. But that isn't saying much, outside delusional Giants fans, the rest of the world knows Jones isn't good anyway 😂

I think the better question would be how good does he have to be to continue as quarterback on the Giants ? Stat wise one playoff win two playoff wins or is there nothing he can do positive that will keep him quarterback on this team that would be the better question

All the holes on this team sure give up 3 draft picks for Zach Wilson. It's amazing you can have the worst WR'S, TE'S, OL in 50 years same offense that ruined 4-5 years off a 2 time super bowl winner. Daniel Jones and one taclke got this team to the div. playoffs. You know nothing.

Truth is, any other team would not have kept him on the roster.

Dax no way. To many factors now to deicide but this is the worst WR, TE.'S and OL I have ever seen the Giant's have worse than the Simms, Brunner years. They destroyed Eli's last 4-5 years. How anyone can judge him is impossible. It's just financial but stop going after him I never seen him play nearly as bad as what he is surrounded by.

Don’t want no Dak. Depends on if they are in rebuilding mode or win it now mode. A rookie qb would take a year or 2 to develop. I would stick with Jones for another year and save some money to add more talent, and then get a new qb.

The panthers are not a qb needing team. Bryce young imo is a transcode qb in an AWFUL situation. Like at least the Texans when they drafted Cj stroud, they had a plan for him. The panthers have treated Bryce Teri Le and he can make elite throws that his receivers do not catch. Bryce would be just as good if not better if he were on the Texans.
