I do like the new style of rendering, but I really miss some of the old features. Maybe somebody can point me in the right direction. Here is what I used in older versions but can't do with NX 11: 1) Use advanced lights in my rendered scene. 2) Use glows, such as "plasma glow" 3) Use wood grain in a realistic way. The old versions let you model end grain realistically. Overall, I feel like the rendering has been simplified at the expense of functionality and power. HOPEFULLY it is ME that is missing something important here. THANKS!

Hey Robert, It is still possible to use the advanced lights beside the IBL of the Raytrace Studio. It just needs to be enabled and the light sources are different in intesity. E.g. a point light has to be really intensive to be recognizable beside IBL. I'm going to upload a tutorial maybe (: Realistic wood grain is also no problem. I think I also have a tutorial somewhere concerning this issue!
