I'm glad to see another new episode of Nuristani musical performance on Afghan TV. They are released frequently. The musicians and their style come from Ramgel - the northwestern area of the province. The ethnic group is called Kate (کته).

Becuase nuristan, chitral , gilgit , was one region once called dardistan , and they speak dardic languages which belong to one family , living and folk music and dance of all these tribes of dardistan share one common ancestory .these dardic tribes include , nuristani , khuwar , kalasha , shina , kohistani , kashmiri , and torwali
