Nah, that's new age BS, makes no sense, that's why today's wrestling sucks in comparison to how it was and meant to be. Its not as good as it was. A important rule of wrestling; that is completely lost today is that wrestlers never broke character. , I don't really like seeing wrestlers in more than one promotion or company!! Unless it's an Invasion angle

Sadly the NWA was getting over 100K in watches in the first 24 hours on youtube before the pandemic. So let's share this with everyone you know who might be a fan of old school GOOD wrestling!!

My opinion: they were hot out of the gate and drew a lot of initial interest and didn’t live up to expectations. I was a big fan with high hopes up front. Now, I might watch a match or two a couple of times a month. I haven’t watched a complete show in forever. I’ve reverted to watching videos from the late 50’s - mid 80’s now if I want to see wrestling. Putting the belt on Murdoch and then Cardona really didn’t set well with me. Seems to scream desperation. But, hey, I’ll keep giving the NWA a chance. I’m always willing to be proven wrong. 😏

@@jasonhood2453 When they jumped from KZread to being behind a paywall it absolutely killed them. Yep I have been trying to keep up with them but it's been chaotic in the storylines. They need home grown talent to rise and stop just bringing guys in with some fame and pushing them to the top. Build long term rivalries. Fans want a return to wrestling not everybody trying to be the WWE. The NWA was always the more "real" wrestling with a more real life feel compared to the cartoon WWF. Billy has a good commentary team right now but he needs to book 6 months in advance. I could go on but honestly letting the momentum slip away from them behind a pay wall was bad for them in the long term,

@@joesalyers Again though, do you want NWA to succeed and grow, or do you care more about being able to watch it free on YT? Because a company, ANY company, needs to actually make money, to grow, and last.

As a fresh fan of NWA I am enjoying this Professional Wrestling.

Ok. I'm officially an even bigger Corgan fan. Totally appreciated how he told the wrestlers no the ring is for you. Hard not to like him. It's time for a smashing pumpkins theme song. The current one is so generic

Thats right wrestling as its meant to be! In a way I'm glad Dixie was a dooche to Billy otherwise we wouldn't have had NWA real wrestling finally back!

Agreed. There's a fluke of fortune if ever there was one. Corgan getting done wrong by Dixie and the Jarret brotherhood in TNA was the catalyst for the rebirth of the NWA, and that's a blessing for pro wrestling fans all over the world.

The Fixers match at the beginning is absolutely BRUTAL. Man. That is some of the most original “strong man tag tram” work I have seen in ages. Bring this to Japan!

I just started getting into wrestling again. I helped out at a local show where I live last night and just felt that awe again. Seeing this NWA video was really something. Even the promos and segments were good. Truly incredible work with great tie ins. The motivational stuff was awesome. You guys got a fan in me.

All three matches were damn good. The Barbie doll in the trunks was original! Pope gave his all in his match with Knox, and even though he lost, I don't think that's the end of that situation. Mayweather took Nick Aldis' advice to heart and wins the National Championship. The only bad thing about this show is Velvet. She's still annoying.

I'm a new viewer of NWA. It's very interesting for me....to watch.

Can't believe that the OGK lost. Does that mean they are out of the cup, or can they still have a qualifier to get back in? I like The Fixers. Wanted ROH to sign Wrecking Ball for a long time. Some suggestions for NWA to bring in. Cameron Cole can be big. The former ROW Champion strikes me as a classic NWA World Champion type. Will Allday and Rayo would be great in the Jr. Heavyweight division. Others to consider would include BHK Kevin Martenson, Bryan Keith, Damian Drake, Nathen Bradley, Ricky "Smokes" Archer, Matt Vandagriff, Chip Day, and Sean Legacy as well. Heavyweights: Former FSW Champion "God Of War" Joe Graves, Former ROW and Wildkat Sports Champion "Ruthless" Ryan Davidson, "Hitman for Hire" Mr. Grim, "Milehigh Magnum" Dak Draper, Mysterious Q, Nobe Bryant, Chris Battle, Moonshine Mantell, and "Big Bacon" Brad Hollister. And how about Colby Corino's former Tag partner Rob Kiljoy? Tag Team and all three are terrific singles guys really more of a faction "The Prestigeous" Mac Daniels, Brett Ryan Gosslin and Channing Thomas. Also Maine Sate Posse (Danger Kidd and Adain Aggro.)

Fixers really got cheated though I thought that was a 3 count it was supposed to be no DQ before Billy. Pope last time he wrestled nearly had to call for The Priest for Last Rights. So I was nervous seeing him but knew this was taped so hehe. NWA is smart to put this on YT removing any reason to seek it bootlegged etc. I was hoping this match would work in a Pope on the Rope joke but alas. I hope if things don't work out for Adonis he will win Tag Team Titles.

I wish the ladies match's were as hard hitting as the men's match's.

Cardona-Murdoch is airing next week. They didn’t explain that they were going to show segments of this card in Oak Grove over the span of three weeks. The in-ring action has been good, though. They’ve also done well with advertising for the Crockett Cup later this month. Glad they’ve been able to recover after the pandemic.

They’re going to air Cardona-Murdoch next week. The KZread & FiteTV shows were recorded a few weeks ago. Because they’re advertising for the Crockett Cup later in the month, it looks like they’ll eventually work out these issues with the timing of the broadcasts.

Currently, it is Mother's Day. Way behind am I. That Bennet is able to perform at pro level attests to that thing Gorilla Monsoon called intestinal fortitude. Taven just keeps getting better. If the NWA can please stop using the Fixers as gimmicks, jus sayin. Great match. Bradley should be in the hunt for a solo belt. However, nice to see a ref get to decide a match through inaction. Really?, so Knox/Pope.....deep sigh, what could have been. Chris Adonis, thank you for a great run. While you remind me of every golden boy jock all through life, loud, arrogant, entitled.....you back it up.

Fun show, but some of the booking in stupid. Why would change a no DQ match people are looking forward to... to a normal wrestling match? Why would start the Crockett Cup on the stop instead of when it supposed to be on a 2 night PPV?

Because Crockett cup matches aren’t no DQ hence the change from no DQ to regular match once it was made a Crockett cup match. But also Impact Wrestling has tapings March 19 (first night of the Crockett cup) and OGK will be busy since they are with Impact. Probably why they had to change it. So in the end the decisions make more sense.

Not trying to be a hater, but what does Velvet sky bring to the commentary table ? Better to have 2 announcers (Galli and a color guy) than 3 and i really can't see the benifits of having her calling the matches....keep up the good work NWA

So glad they changed their minds in NWA and gave wrestlers entrance music. So boring when they only come out to crowd noise only.
