You know, my defense of Flamigo, is how damn bizarre real flamingos are. Flamingos produce blood from their eyes to feed their young, are bright fucking pink birds, and are proportioned like a shitty chair. Imagine, please, you are a group of overworked japanese designers trying to make a flamingo "more like a pokemon". I honestly appreciate that the smaller elements of Flamingo's design show off it's secondary flighting type. It has a stance and glare that just says it is gonna gut punch you.

Just so you know, in case finding a shiny happens again, catching a pokemon does give off evs. I tested this when I was training in sumo.

Pun aside, this was a very interesting showcase of the Scarlet Paradox mons; as someone who only currently owns Violet, I'm definitely intrigued by the mons I don't currently have access to. Definitely going to watch the Violet counterpart to this challenge soon.

You claimed protosynthesis raised "a specific stat" but it is just the Pokemon's highest stat. This actually is modified by things like sword dance or trail blaze before setting sun or electric terrain(for Quark Drive)

So if I swap a Pokemon in who's highest stat is Speed, but then I use Swords Dance, now my attack stat is a higher number. Does Protosynthesis change the buff to my attack now?

@@kylehennkens9578 effectively it doesn't change the boost after it has activated unless it deactivates and reactivates, however it increases the highest stat when the ability activates. 1.3 times or 1.5 times if the stat is speed

14:22 I'm gonna be a nerd and point out that Meloetta's signature move Relic Song already had a 10% (technically 20% considering Meloetta's only ability is Serene Grace) to put an opponent to sleep.

That Steiner match line was fabulous! I never thought I would see it used in a Pokémon video.

I assume the Starmobiles work similarly to the Tera Pokemon you find in the crystal caverns. That is, not only do they get the usual changes from Terastallization, they also have way more HP than usual, and possibly some other boosts.

As a small note, Grusha is a guy :P

The whole Star Mobile is funny to me, because in their design you can see it is not just a Revavroom. It is also two Varooms for the back wheels. And according to the lore told to us by the flashbacks, at least one Charcadet is inside of the Star Mobiles to give them the needed power to function, although I dare to remember they mentioned training two. If this holds up since they are flashbacks? Dunno, but the Varooms in the design are still there so it is not a stretch. Scarlet and Violet has a good story along all paths! Really worth the attention if you can spend it.

Well, Koraidon is a paradox Pokémon, so the only rule the game made you break is the terastallization one.

Just a quick note: Grusha, according to the Pokemon website, is male (or at least uses he/him). You used in the video she while referring to Grusha.

A lot of characters in Pokemon are traditionally feminine but are actually men, I wouldn't put it past Meatball to mistake Grusha for a woman because of the Miku hair and hiding his face with his scarf

Probably because they did not want to have 2 trainers with the same type specialty so the titan types where the only options for the elite 4

Fun fact: there's an Earth Power TM on the mountain east of Alfornada that can be gotten from the beginning of the game with only the BLJ!

Professor oak is literally just catching everything in the game before gym one other than scizor, Palafin, slowking, the paradoxes, and koraidon/miraidon

Meowscarada is kinda an OP starter. 110 attack and 123 speed, and flower trick is base 70 power and a guarunteed crit hit. It also has acess to a stab night slash, and play rough and u turn for coverage and switching.

Don't think I'm going to say anything that hasn't already been commented but a couple script mistakes I noticed are: Protosythesis has a PR not an PH. Don't put emphasis on the Pee in Cassiopeia. The lu in Lucario is not pronounced low. Grusha is male. The elite 4 are not related. The switch only drops frames in a few (2 or 3) specific areas, but the game cuts framerate of animations based on distance that an emulator would still have without modding the ROM. I think that was everything I noticed.

Fought a farigiraf in my game when you Fought farigiraf, used flash cannon rights before you said flash cannon, and picked up a rare candy exactly as you proposed using some in game. This alongside the multicolored boxes in the terrarium is making me feel like this life might actually be a simulation simulation.
