NUX Trident Tutorial | EP6: Expression Pedal

Музыка

Welcome back to our continuing series on the NUX Trident. In this episode I will show you how to set up and use an external expression pedal as a wah, pitch bend, and more with the Trident. Adding an expression pedal to the Trident will make your entire experience much more dynamic and creative. It doesn't matter what brand expression pedal you use. Just make sure you use a TRS cable when connecting it to the Trident for proper use. Enjoy!

Unfortunately, in this place, NUX Trident has the biggest problems - it is impossible to simultaneously use the Wah effect and the compressor effect, since they are in the same slot, that is, you have to choose between Wah and the compressor. And in itself, turning on the Wah effect with the FX button on the processor panel is very inconvenient. I recommend bringing the compressors into a separate slot, following the example of an equalizer, and in the Wah settings add automatic on/off when the pedal changes from the lower or upper threshold (as implemented in the outdated AX8). Also, it is not clear how to increase the volume + 3db for solo? It would be possible to start the equalizer on the FX button and turning it on would raise (with correction) the signal by 3db, but unfortunately the equalizer occupies a separate slot and is not included in the FX slot. As a result, this is not a fully thought-out device, which limits interest in buying it. I hope that all these inconveniences will be fixed with new firmware versions. Or you will have to wait for the Trident MkII version with freedom assignment of various functions and parameters to the processor buttons.

I bought the Trident pedal and really like it, a question though, does Nux have a webpage where users can upload/download presets for sharing?

Can you make a guitar pedal similar to the Texas Twang from Pedal Pawn? It would be a sales hit.
