I was going to say the same thing, totally a “dad” move …😂 ! Great video.

This video was slightly shocking to me as someone from a heavy rice eating culture and retired professional chef. Everything from the delayed start, to opening the lid during cooking, checking to see "how it was doing." But most of all, disturbing the rice before completing cooking. My ancestors.

Thank you! I just order mine few days ago. It has a good reveiw online but this video help a lot. Good medium size rice cooker is what I need. As a Taiwanses background, rice means lots to me. My apt is small so the usually size rice cooker won't work. I recently tried the mini rice cooker and that scared me due to the inside spring seen very off. I'm prayed this will work

Only shitty thing is no water drain, it just drips down the back. Poor design.
