God this is a timely word. I've been feeling so distant & misunderstood by my mother and I'm sure she feels the same way as well. She's been battling mental health issues and pain from her past. Instead of being understanding & supportive, I tend to be critical. When I know the right thing would be to give her grace even if I don't get it back. Especially when I feel the scared little girl in me wanting all her mother's love and attention. That hasn't been obtainable in our relationship and hasn't been for a while. I'm asking God to heal me and for me to stop looking to my mother to fix me when she has her own battles. Instead, that healing would take place in her life. And that I would show up for myself as a sister and do the work. The biggest thing I've had to do is lean on and trust God through it all. Thank you Pastor SJR messages like this really remind me to stop to think and process & then rethink why I think and process the way I do.

Hey there girl. I am so sorry. I know that it's very difficult. I been there with my own mother. All you can do is pray for her. Things like this can be toxic. But if you continue in prayer for her and give her that space, keep doing what you've been doing. It will get better. Took mine 30+ years. But know, There is victory on the other side of this difficult walk/season in your life, my friend. Trust God in the process & in your life. Hang onto to your own identity in Christ. Hold on there and Trust in Him!

“You’re not following a church, you’re not following a religion, you’re following a way of being” Loved that explanation. I have people in my life who are turned away from religion bc they fail to understand this 1 concept. They judge the people apart of the church & use them to summarize religion, rather than the message God tries to express through the church. No one is perfect & humans aren’t always the best examples but God’s word is good. Jesus is who we should all strive to be more like. Thank you, hopefully I can use that to help them be more open to learning the word of God. Bless all you lovely ladies & lads lol! Have a day as amazing as you are❤️

I’ve learned that God meets us right where we are. I am here 23 single expecting a baby boy in October. I have been fighting and questioning on all the things I’ve done wrong within my relationship. And I no longer want to put this on my heart I’m a lot larger than this. I am learning to not get distracted by my right now for it is unseen what God will do in my life. But I have faith that full restoration will be filled within me. I am hungry for the word, and hungry to be just like my brother Jesus. God bless you Sarah 🙏🏾

We are in the same . I am 23 my baby boy is due in October. My fiance left me when I got pregnant. I'm and also praying to God that he gives me strength to pen my heart for not just me but my baby boy

That's is exactly what I needed to hear! Trapped so afraid of being rejected, not good enough, fearful of the knives attacking me once again with the pain of rejection once again. Abandoned at birth kept in a hospital for eight months before I was placed in a foster home So much more of rejection in my marriage right now. Just have been in tears, quiet not saying much, staying at home Tired of fighting it anymore. Thank you for that message

As I was watching this sermon and it reminded me of Mark 5:41 , Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” Mark 5:41 NKJV May God bless you and touch you and you certainly arise from whatever you going through, nurture your inner child by the love of God that is greater than the world. For greater who He is in us than who is in the World. Praise God❤❤

I normally don't share, because of the shame I've felt for so long. As I was going through youtube, I asked God to please give me something a word that word speak to me. This message was the first thing that popped up. I've been beating myself up for the last 15years over something I've done, and have regretted for so long. All I can do is lift my hands, and say Thank you God, and thank you Pastor Sarah for being the vessel I needed on this day. I'm speechless, I'm grateful and emotional. My God thank you!

My dad was a Pastor and since he passed away, there are many swords I feel. From family who I love, father of my child. The verbal abuse is stronger than ever, in my time of grieving. I got to a vulnerable place and began to speak on the abuse I experienced to my family, hoping for support. They do not understand,saying it’s my fault for dealing with the abuse. More shame & pain I felt. This shows me to a trust in God. This message spoke to me & I am believing my Miracles & Power

This was sooooo good 🙌🏻,when we can go back in the past and pour love on those situations that we once were in instead of judgement we heal and move differently

Talk about poking at a wound to see if it still hurt. Girl I didn’t even realize she was in so much pain. I do not like to cry but this message caused me to really think And remember that child in me and it brought me to tears. I am forever grateful for this message. I can honestly say after listening to this message my life will forever be changed thank you so much for delivering This word. I haven’t had a message feed my soul in a very long time. I’ve had messages that have made me feel good or made me feel like I was in the right direction but nothing like this. My soul was literally crying out for this message thank you Pastor Sarah!

Wow that prayer got me walking to Jesus with my little back pack and he hugged me and held my hand and off we went into a what felt very peaceful, cloudy.
