NURSING IN THE UK No. 17| My NHS Anaesthetic Nurse Interview

Well, well, well it's a new year, new life for me.
It's not because I'm getting bored in Recovery. I have other reasons. Long ago, I said I'm too old to be thinking about career progression. But then something hit me--I need to increase my earnings. And one way to do it is to expand my skill set.

    Depends on the trust and the theatre role. Some of my colleagues work long hours so they just do 3 days a week. They can then do banks in the ward or wherever. Otherwise, you can do 5 days a week in theatre and banks on weekends.

    Technically, you CAN apply independently to a UK employer but not many organizations hire from red list countries.

    How do I get to work as a nurse Anaesthetist in the UK?

  • @JetfromRecovery

    @JetfromRecovery

    Жыл бұрын

    Well, nurse anaesthetists are not recognized in the UK. So the short answer will be, to apply as an anaesthetic nurse and undergo the same process as every other foreign-trained nurse.

    You mean ODP

  • @JetfromRecovery

    @JetfromRecovery

    No, ODP is a different title and cannot be used by RNs. I only need to do a post-graduate course, not an entire bachelor's degree.
