I was hesitant to purchase an open box carseat but it came in excellent condition and saved $35. I will update of course if I have any issues with this carseat but I don't think I will. Also it is surprisingly lightweight, the handle feels secure unlike my previous EvenFlo that was gifted to us. Love it !

To anyone reading through comments, I wanted to offer some lessons learned. We purchased the Nuna Rava to extend our 3 year old's rear-facing time (up to 50lb). However, it was so cramped and upright (even in the fully reclined position) that he refused to sit in the seat. We had just transitioned from a Max-Cosi Pria 85 Max, which he loved, but is eclipsing the 40lb rear-facing weight limit of. We had difficulty with our Volvo XC60. Just some additional information to consider as you make your decision...oh and the cup holders are TINY and quite out of reach! If you use insulated thermoses like most kids do these days, you won't be able to get them to fit.

Hey that has a huge factor of which car or suv you own. In my wife’s car she’s super crammed. In my car she has so much more room… it’s all about the slope of the seat.

Unrelated question I guess but why are the maxi cosi adaptors compatible with so many carseats and strollers? Btw I love your hair!

How can I get this carseat in Norway?!

Has anyone ran into a problem with straps length? My child is oy 36lb and still rear facing but straps are super tight on him, weve tried everything but straps seem short. Is there any hidden length somewhere i am unable to see?

Have you tried adjusting the headrest all the way up and pullling the straps all the way out before readjusting back to the right height? If you did and it's still short/tight, your child outgrew the harness use by torso height. If I remember correctly, the harness length is 17.5". You would just go into booster mode ff or change to a new carseat that has a higher harness length.

is it compatible with Uppababy Vista stroller? If not, then how does it with if my baby is sleeping and I need to put the car seat on the stroller instead of taking him out of the car seat?

Nuna rava (which is i’m about to purchase), is a convertible car seat means it STAYS in your vehicle. I have the UPPAbaby vista V2 and i’m currently using the UPPAbaby Mesa infant car seat, you can use that without adapter . You can also use Nuna pipa/pipa lite, peg perego and other brands but you have to buy the adapters. Infant car seats is what you need in order to transfer your baby to your vista without taking him out of the car seat.

Do you recommend getting the Nuna booster seat after this one is done weight limit wise? Are booster seats safer or a convertible car seat that goes up to 120 lbs per say? Thank You!

Transitioning to a booster seat can actually be pretty difficult. If you're comfortable with kiddo using just the car's seat belt and you trust that they won't wiggle their way out of it, then moving to a booster is fine. We just got ours for my 17 month old. Do the inserts stay or are they for newborns? We had a Nuna pipa, but I’m confused with our Rava.

The inserts can be removed once a child hits 6 months, so you likely won't need them.

The Prym is a European car seat that is not available here and meets different standards so we cannot comment on it.

Does the RAVA have an anti-rebound bar? On your Convertible Car Seat guide it says it does but I do not see it on Nuna's website unfortunately. Thank you.

It has a pull out footrest that doubles as an anti-rebound bar. While its not the same steel construction as Clek's anti-rebound bar, it gets the job done!

@@ulviyakhan8349 The strap is a bit short but it worked once we played around with the head rest. If the head rest is too high, it kind of pull the strap along making it shorter. It might help.

how early can an infant use the rave instead of the pipa?

If I remember correctly, it starts at 5lbs. Technically you could use it at the newborn stage with its inserts.

Yes if baby is at or over 5 lbs. It does take more room on recline 1.

It sounds like you can, but I’d recommend using a carrier like the Nuna Pipa so that you don’t have to take the sleeping baby out of the carseat and risk waking them up before their nap is done.

Don’t buy Nuna. As a customer using their products over 2 years now. The after sales is pathetic and the staff really doesn’t care. I loved the product earlier to recommend this but then its an endless waiting game for order to be shipped with rude after sales
