Thanks for specifically mentioning about the "bassinet mode" for the stroller seat!! Because I heard it lays pretty flat, but wanted a mom's perspective if it made you feel comfortable. I think in the end we'll purchase the compatible bassinet because we'll do walks and outings with it. Plus it can double up as a safe space for her to nap in the living room/while I cook before she's old enough for our lil swing we got. 😇

Thanks for the honest reviews! I’m just over 4 months pregnant and have been keeping my eye on this travel system. There’s some really good deals here in the UK where you can get the whole set with carry cot, stroller and car seat for quite a good price! I’m just hoping it will still be a similar price when I’m further along because I don’t want to buy anything until I’m closer to 7-8 months pregnant so still got a few months to go!

What website or retailers can you buy it from in the UK ?

I bought the same stroller from Nordstrom and car seat RX in grey... I love it. I should probably practice folding and unfolding it lol

The one they had at $399 was the 2019 Nuna Mixx in threaded. It was never the Nuna Mixx Next (2020) in threaded. I got mine since only big difference was the fold and the front wheels on ours are plastic but we actually prefer how ours look in the bag since it is covered and we personally prefer it this way. Will definitely buy the one you have for our 2nd baby.

Still loving the nuna? We got the Pipa lite and Mixx Next with the bassinet for the Nordstrom anniversary sale and were excited!

How do you think the stroller would look in the frost color ? I bought the same stroller but idk how I feel about the top being so light in color.

Do you like the color, I sm trying to decide if the black will be to hot for the Caribbean where I live or if I should go with a darker color.

Well you sold me on this stroller, any reason you didn’t get the Pipa in threaded too? BTW you two have a great vibe together and it makes watching fun!

hi! the pipa in threaded was only available as pipa lite (which cannot be used without a base). we didnt want to have to invest in a second base for a second vehicle, and will likely be traveling by plane with the car seat. the base is HEAVY, so we'd prefer to leave it at home and install the car seat with a seatbelt path when traveling.

Hello Sandra! I am very on the edge about this vs. the regular Nuna Mixx. I've read a lot of people complaining about this one which is a shame because it's on sale right now. Are you still liking it? Does your baby slide down from the seat a lot and is the foot rest really a joke?

honestly, i do not love bassinet mode. when baby was super small, i just used the car seat and ring adapter. she's 4 months now, and around 3 months she fit better in the toddler seat and likes to sit up, so we do like the bigger seat better now!

The $399 sale was for the Nuna Mixx (not on the site anymore) and not the Nuna Mixx Next. I got this when it was Nordstrom sale even though I really wanted Caviar...but couldn’t beat the $200 off. Nonetheless, still a great stroller! And congratulations on your beautiful baby girl!

we’re due in almost 3 months and have been in between the Mixx Next and Triv, BUT…do you think the bassinet accessory is necessary? Does the seat go back far enough to where she can sleep as a newborn? Or is that even necessary? Do you find that you use the car seat more on the stroller?

Not necessary especially if you have summer baby. Bassinet is only good for up to 6 months and they already don’t want to lay down at around 4

Does the carseat come with a base?

Do you definitely need to slide those latches to open the stroller back up? I don't have it yet, so I can't verify, but looking at the manual, it seems like you should just be able to lift up on the handle and it should pop right open.

Nope! I own this stroller and left it without the latch dnd popped it in my trunk :) no problem!!

Pro tip: Hey, you dont have to push the things on the handle to open the stroller. You can just pull it up from where the lock is after you unlock it!

Your baby is absolutely gorgeous! The pram is alrigt too lol

No the nuna mixx doesn’t come with car seat included.

We haven’t had an issue with dirt yet, but we plan to spot clean regularly and machine was every now and again!

For babys there is an extra bassinet for the stroller, I either wouldn’t use the toddler seat until they can sit on their own. And you are not supposed to have the baby’s in the car seat longer than about 30 minutes because it is not good for their back. Thank you you for your review! :)

@@MariahRacquel no, the seat is not enough, ist does Not lay Completely flat which is the healthiest position for the backs of the babys. The first time I would put them in the seat with lying “newborn position” is when they are almost able to sit on their own (which means they can get in a sitting position by themselves without falling back or sideways again) most parents start to early with sitting, but if they can’t sit on their own it just means the muscles are still not develop enough. Those kids will have issues later with their back.

@@nusiuchna2971 the toddler seat lays back pretty much flat, and you can snap the leg rest up, so its basically the shape of a bassinet for smaller children to lay down without buying the actual bassinet attachment

I was in Nordstrom on Sunday and they didn’t have it on sale 😭 and just looked again and still isn’t showing anything on sale

It was for 2019 model and the price made me choose that one vs the demi grow. I bought it right away because even though I am not due for next four months. Otherwise I would go for 2020 Demi Grow. Register with pottery barn for 20% completion discount.

Idk if you’ve discovered this yet, but I’ll just say this for anyone reading: when folding it back out you don’t actually have to pull back the “triggers”. You can just pull up the handle! This folding mechanism is actually the main reason I got it.

Do you have the mixx next? This is true for the older mixx/mixx2, but we tried just pulling the handle back up multiple times and it wouldn’t budge. We had to actually pull the triggers back every time to get it to open again.
