4:40-5:12 so true, this has happened to me my whole life. I have lost friends because of this. I honestly thought I was being helpful and I was being offensive or demanding or controlling. It hurt so bad because it’s not how I meant it to be. I have since then stopped inserting myself and my advice unless I’m asked.
