Number_i's BON reached #2 in the world on KZread's Daily Charts. Their latest song BON is truly unique and expresses Japanese culture through music.

They offically announced Number_i as a group on the 15 oct 2023. That's why the elevator number is 1015. They already performed that full song live at CDTV yesterday

i'm a Number_i fan even around the time they were in their previous group and have been making reaction videos from a fan's perspective for years. it's nice to know that more and more people are discovering them and reviewing their performances from a non-fan perspective. couldn't be prouder of these guys. ❤️💙💜

Bonsai is a miniature plant that is supposed to be tended and shifted by the owner. These 3 guys used to be idols but left the abusive entertainment management. So they are saying they are as a group, a bonsai, a group of tensai (geniuses--kind of rhyming), as wanderers who choose their own path and in charge of shifting their being (the plant, bonsai). Bon is also a sound of something hitting or flower blossoming. Also, bon-odori is the Japanese traditional dance form among common people.

Thank you for your reaction. BON, so much coolness in another dimension!  BON was produced by Sho Hirano of Number_i. Sho has also participated the arrangement and choreography. This song was created with Japan strongly in mind. This song has many modulations and incorporates traditional Japanese music. The lyrics are also excellent, meaningful, and piercing.There are many metaphors for BON. Those who see BON, a fusion of Japanese taste and hip-hop, will be overwhelmed! As you know BON means BONSAI=Japanese dwarf pot plants. Bonsai care methods include wrapping wire (harigane-針金) around the trunk and branches to shape and prune them. This is a metaphor for the relationship between Number_i and their fans, bonsai and wire. It can be taken as expression of love for the fans. I hope you will keep an eye on Number_i!

Great Choice “A”. Loved seeing them all I know is they performed with Jackson Wang at Coachella this year. It’s a unique sound but it’s catchy …the choreography is fire 🔥 though. 🙆🏻‍♀️🎼🎶🕺🏻🙌🏽

I didn't get to see 88rising stage for Coachella when it was live. I watched them performed on a fancam but the audio wasn't to good. I do like their choreography for sure!

Thx for your reaction! 😊 BON is my favorite song of 2024 followed by GOAT this far. The guy in blond, Sho Hirano produced this song. The use of various traditional Japanese instruments adds unique originality to the track! The music and the dance blew my mind and the MV in of itself is also awesomely creative, full of different references and homage to Japanese pop-culture from different eras. The first half of the video was more like cyber punk or RPG SciFi video game and the latter half was more retro-pop and trippy. When you get a chance, plz check out their other songs like OK Complex or Square One. 😀

They haven't got fandom name yet. Bonsai has at least two meanings. 1.　盆栽：The plant, as you know 2.　凡才：Not genius They are two completely different words. So, they are saying that we are genius but at the same time, we are ordinary people.

You pronounces "Bonsai" with ¨za¨ in English but the pronunciation in Japanese is "Bonsai" with ´sa¨, like ¨silence¨.
