We visited the number 1 winery in Europe, and second best winery in the world, Marques de Riscal in Rioja Spain (voted by World's Best Vineyard 2021). Frank Gehry's modern architectural master piece of a structure (Hotel Marques de Riscal by Marriott) is the jewel of the winery. On top of everything, Marques de Riscal has been here since 1858 and has one of the best vintage wine collections in the world! So fortunate to have visited this amazing winery and the surround area. This winery/vineyard is simply jaw dropping and a must if you love wine, history and architecture.
