    Good info! I also like that the equipment is affordable. I'll need to change that for the shiners available in my area are much smaller... Thanks Captain Dave!

    Awesome , I’m slowing moving over from saltwater to bass fishing. The IRL and what man has done to screw up the flats grass has devastated the fishing. Why I’m finding myself moving into freshwater. Love the video, I’m gonna hit the Stick Marsh / Headwater tomorrow. That device you use to stop the bait from sliding up the shank ,??, any info on how I can get one? Thanks Captain.

    I’ve been out with some other guides on Okeechobee, and they used fluorocarbon. Is there more pros than cons using braid vs fluorocarbon?

  • @ItsaGuidesLife

    @ItsaGuidesLife

    I have used FC next to braid many times early on...There was never any difference they both got the same number of fish so I went to the Brady full-time I guess bought a 39 fish or 10 pounds in six years I can’t even tell you how many fish between seven and 9 pounds hundreds

    Mario Hernandez depends on the line you’re using Id say, it’ll weaken any line but things like bread it’ll mess up big time I’d say,

    Ive fished lake george with limited success in the past. Watched your video and rigged my poles up like your video. I fish up north for walleye and smallmouth a lot but shiner fishing is quite different than what im used to. This video helped me out a TON. A few notes from my week. 1. In the past, my shiner would swim into cover. The drop shot kept that shiner right where i wanted. 2. It was quite windy a couole days and there is no way my bobber would have stayed put if not without the Drop shot. 3. When vasting a bait caster or my 6500s, the weight at the end of the line added extra distance, accurate casting and less back lash. 4. When i got into cover, i was able to get out easier with the weight on the end, instead of the hoook 5. I used them in 2 to 7 ft of water and it was simple.to adjust the bobber stoppers. 6. It was my third trip here to george and by the third day, my dad and i had about 75 fish in the boat. I was outfishing him and getting more bites. my dad witched over bc i was catching more. I rigged him up and his luck changed. Im kind of laughing while writing these comments..... i swear i wasnt paid. Video excellent and thankful i came across.it. i would love to see more specifics of your fishing out on the water. Do u prefer big lillie pads? Smaller dollar pads? Grass? Ledge fishing? Time of year? Domestic or eild shiners? (We used domestic.) Will be down every march for a week.

    For shiner fishing attendant like edges I’m not afraid to throw it out in the middle of a Hydro patch also probably only pants for shiners over dollar pads Tyler pads offer a lot less edges but if I see dollar path dude I’ll throw an artificial bait ha ha ha ha I always use life or rather well shiners of course their life I’m dictating this so there might be a few mistakes I always like to have a couple up but I call mule Chokers in the boat I’m talking shiners over 8 inches 10 inches is even better I’m telling you if you think there might be a big fission area honest to God that big shiner will get eaten now it’s a boy it’s a little slow I like to keep the smaller shiners out of the water thanks for all your questions man I appreciate a bunch
