The Numatic company is 50 years old this year, though they don’t seem to have commemorated the fact so far.

It was a lovely series this year. Shoutout to Roger for brining us his Advent Series. Merry Christmas to You, Mark, Mum, Your Family, and Mollie & Daisy.

Ohh wow I never seen ones of these before that’s 2 different numatic Henry’s you’ve shown me in the last week that I didn’t know existed…. I used the (henry wash) today ohh my it’s absolutely brilliant in every way possible compared to the old vax I am so glad I seen you’re video and got one or I would of ended up paying for a George and half the stuff I didn’t need. I got a henry turbo HVT160 it’s brilliant on pet hair but there is room for improvement this looks like my big black rug would go from white to black in less than 10 seconds I want one now 🤩😂🤦🏻‍♂️

Impressive machine small in size but sure did a good job of the BIG MESS TEST i think the hound hada good meal eating all the dirt .He was smiling right till the end good boy .

Thank you for another cracking series. Between the cost of the cleaners over the years and the effort a series like.this you do such an outstanding job keeping us entertained including something for the children and privding interesting information and facts!! Merry Christmas xx

Happy Christmas Roger, we watched the big mess test today (Christmas day) and it had us all in stitches!!!!! My boy Leo who is 7 on new years eve loves your videos and we were all shouting for you to make even more mess!!!! It would really make his birthday if you gave him a "shout out" at some point in one of your films. This year Santa brought him a Shark handheld although I sensed a little disappointment that it wasn't a Bissell CrossWave!!!!!!!!!! Hi Roger, I love Numatic vacuums, they have fantastic airflow and suction and are built really well too👍. I'm sure Numatic could make a Quad A vacuum with today's technology. I recently bought a Qualtex H13 HEPA filter for my Numatic James and it seems to have improved the air quality quite a lot👌. It didn't fit perfectly with the seal it came fitted with but I removed it and fitted the seal from the original filter that came with James and it fitted fine. I'd guess with the combination of the HEPA Bag and now also the HEPA Filter in my James that he'd likely get an A rating for dust emissions. The Electric head looks like it does a fine job and I noticed how quiet it is too compared to the Airobrush I use with my James which works well but is noisy. I think the Ultimate Numatic vacuum for a home would be everything that the Henry hound is but with the addition of a H13 HEPA filter too, I believe that would also make it a Quad A machine too👌

Those North American Numatics come from Nacecare here in the colonies, Roger....based in Toronto, Canada. They indeed have a new power nozzle Henry which features a Sebo power nozzle. Would be nice if Numatic would a offer Europeans a 240-volt version. Maybe they are watching your KZread Channel? May 2019 be a Hooverific year for you, Sir Roger of Vacuumshire!!!

Late to the game, but very impressive. Let's see any cordless stick vac do that. I think I could count on one hand the number of vacuums I'd be willing to try on that. My Electrolux or Kirby G4 would probably do okay. A Riccar would probably handle that. The Henry obviously did very well. An Oreck XL, one of the more powerful ones like the XL21 *might* manage most of it. The Bissell I used to have would have shit itself.

I emptied the contents of my g tech on floor then used henry to clear it up did good job 👍😊

I still wish they produced the henry hound its amazing but I should be grateful I have a 580w henry xtra

I think you should to a test with 620w vs 1200w numatics. The Henry Hound but with the normal floor tool (NOT THE TURBO ELECTRIC HEAD) and any other Numatic that is 620w with the regular new style floor tool. And it would be a great demonstration with the old floor tool vs the new one. And the 620watt motor vs the 1200watt motor.

Excellent test. So which is the best Henry vacuum today?

They are pretty much the same apart from different tool kits. If you want particularly clean exhaust air get the Allergy version. I would also recommend the compact models as they are easier to handle.

Hi This is one of the second videos of yours, enjoying. Apogies if this is is answerd later on, but does that look like a non standard screw thread on Hound's nose or is that a DC power supply to the Turbo head motor ?. I am a convert to Numatic over Dyson within the last couple of years. My Lodger is moving on out to he's own place and taking he's old henry with him end of month. Just brought industrial Numatic PSP180 nice blue rugged look. Still with smiling face. But functional that's what's needed, been all round every tool, 1st change of bag on second day all excited. I see the hound is not made any more, is there a spring loaded switch for power rather than the standard rocker I see ? Love to know, Keep making these vids they entertaining and informative. Stuart.

I have to admit that’s a pretty impressive power head, no dead spaces in the pickup area underneath either where you have to do big overlaps or something. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Numatic at one point sell a vacuum that came with the sebo ET-1 powerhead? I haven’t seen those listed for a while but I thought they had that. Great video!

It was Nacecare in North America that sold Numatic vacuums with the ET1 head, unfortunatly powerheads are not really a thing over here so there isn't the motivation fornumatic to make a powerhead vacuum again.

Love to find one with a powerhead can you give me the heads up where I can purchase one I live in Canada

The electric head can be found on eBay but it will only work with models designed for it.
