when i first got mine i had no monitors but i was anxious to start using it. so i bought a rca cable with a female headphone jack and used computer speakers. you cant mix anything but it worked for just jammin

@Reese Why do you say that you can't mix anything? If you use the software provided (Serato DJ) or another standard midi controlled dj software you can. You do not have to have 'monitors' to mix with. Any powered speaker or just using headphones you can mix with the controller.

hey, I just got my NS6 and your video helped me to make this decision. I am new to DJ Controllers so I have a Problem. I bought it in US, because you can not get this kind of stuff in my country (Georgia, Europe). It turned out that on the box it is mentioned "US 115V". As you know in Europe it's 220-240V. Thus I am little bit confused. Can I just buy another power adapter with the same 12V 2A but capable of 220-240V or I have to buy 110 to 220 voltage converter with is much more expensive option. Hoping for your help...

check out the specs ON the adapter. it should say 115V to 240V.

Boom Soundz Keep Di Link Radio ..... can I connect my laptop into the rca inputs and play iTunes off of my laptop? Will it run through the NS6 that way?

If you want play Traktor, go for Numark 4trak which is exactly the same as NS6 but for Traktor

i just ordered my ns6 today nuff sed... n the ns7 is great to btw

Hey Phil ..i love your reviews i just brought the unit yesterday and i am really happy with it..but i have a problem with that... When i play two song at a time and i want to scratch on it with the crossfader when i crossfade from deck A to B my another song stop and go to the starting point. Can you please tell me how to setup the settings "I WANT TO PLAY TWO SONGS AT ONE TIME WHILE ANOTHER DECK IS COMEPLETELY FADED OUT SO PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO FOR NOT MAKING MY ANOTHER TRACK GO TO THE STARTING POINT OF THE TRACK" please reply ASAP.

lol its switch on the front of your controller next to your xfader tunr both off for both decks its called the fader start

Haven't used this controlller is many years so can't remember much, it'll depend on the mapping and you can change that yourself

The scratching with this controller is not good at all. I returned the unit for this reason (along with the lack of volume).

I have already did that. I am not new to DJing. I am extremely familiar with adjusting the setting. And with the best adjustments I still feel the same way. Its not god for scratching
