I thinks the Death would survive even without the Pestilence sacrificing. That transformation was a good excuse to claim Pestilence as Death though.

How they automatically believed you when you said you were Pestilence is beyond me. Did they not realize that they're the same faction and that'd be an obvious play to make?

Honestly, the pest could even have made the play that 15's coven and 5 is death. Even if coven comes out to cc, it doesn't go on Death.

Mindgames. Maybe Pest claims Pest because town would assume the one claiming pest is actually death, and so votes them anyways? Strange that they believed him but not strange that they didnt automatically think he was death for it

​@@leechesg it's literally a 50/50 at the point. Are they being honest to cause you to lynch them or are they lying to cause to lynch someone else. It literally just mind games at that point. It all boils down to do we believe they are arrogant enough to claim their real role knowing that lynching them could make them lose or are they trying to get sus off their teammate trying to get them to survive? It's just a lose/lose situation where you have to guess one. It would be even worse if they had a 3 teammate that they could of just bussed to win. That situation just didn't have much chance of ending up decent. They should have just lynched the pest claim though, 50% is far better than just witch-hunting to possibly find someone who could potentially be death

Tbf, the only death win I ever saw was an 4 horseman game, where town pulled the genius play of veticide to kill all of town, and we all took turns getting lynched so death could win for us. As a side note, veticide is a cringe tactic, and I'm so glad town lost that one.

My very first time playing Death, I was with baker and berserker and all of us transformed at the same day lmfao. It was totally chaos and I just nuked all of town haha!

What I'm confused about is why did everyone believe you were pest? Wouldn't they think that since pest and death are teammates, they'd lie to cover each other?

Yeah I was thinking that too. I think the only people who would claim any NA role when death transforms are Death, another NA covering for Death, or a sneaky Jester. If someone claims any NA role then, that's the best odds of being death. No coven, town, or NK would claim NA when Death is on the line! Coven and NKs would sooner out themselves than claim NA. inb4 the "it's me. I'm death" reverse psychology fake jester play.

Yes, but also Pipe looked sus anyway, he had claimed LO before lying about being pest and LO is a common PB fake claim, so a lot of it did lean into him being determined to be pest anyway.

It depends if death is solo then yes it is hard to win (though famine is the most hard NA to win solo in my opinion) but if death has at least one teammate especially war who can help him transform by day 4 by killing players and having death collect their souls for 2 souls a night after night 1 since war cant kill night 1 death is one of the best NA roles.

I’m really happy to see Death’s win music was updated!! It used to be the Hex Master music but the new music is so cool!!!

Mimyuu recently has a second character in 100% Orange Juice where they breach prison, I have taken to call them "Mimyuu (Town of Salem 2)"

I think in the first game I’d have claimed death outright after the transformation, because I doubt anyone would actually believe it as it seems like a jester trying to get voted last minute.

Earliest i made it to one of these uploads. It is great being able to find someone exclusively play games of this genre and make it enjoyable. Its very refreshing when the main alternatives are nothing but among us.

Prosecutor had a guaranteed trial on pipe after that first whisper. Mistakes happen but that, combined with everyone just believing the outright pest claim handed him the win.

Your friend group needs to watch who you vote for. You never vote your own coven but insta vote a different player when a different vote starts lol

I don't wanna hear anyone complain that NA is hard to win as after this That was amazing

The Apocalypse game was awesome, but I have no idea how you guys managed to pull off a win with one of the weakest 3-person Coven teams I've ever seen and only a Plaguebearer as a NE role. That was straight up psychological warfare in the second game.

In that first game, the Pest guilty on the Doomsayer to draw all the attention over to him was beautiful. Honestly, town should have just lynched you the confirmed evil - you. I'd go so far as to say if you are Death, you are very likely to claim Pest but if you were actually Pest you would probably try and find a way to convince town you were Death without outright claiming it e.g. claim Cov and then allow Cov to out you as "Death".

I had a game kinda like this but i had an untransformed beserker when I was Death. Both our claims were terrible and the votes were stacking up on me until pros popped out and prosecuted beserker.

hi sorry i havent played TOS2 so i don't know the strats, can someone explain to me the strategy behind fake claiming mayor? isnt there quite a big risk of being outted or the jailor making you reveal? is it just so its a really strong claim that lasts you to the late game?
