Every time I research a new kayak, this guy pops up. Congrats dude , ton of good vids.

Many years ago I was doing research on a kayak, every day I would search KZread looking for new content about set kayak and I could not find it, and I said, I will make a channel and provide as much information as possible about kayaks... Fast forward 6 years here we are 😁. Thank you for the kind comment

I saw the frontier 12 and I really liked that one

I did that with my Vibe Seaghost. Great move bailing out. The surf will dump you out then the yak will hit you from behind every time. Great video. Most tubers film going out but don’t film the return thru breakers. 👍

flint is not an stable platform but it was not build for that, it is super light, fast, a joy to fish out of it

I'm surprised how well it did but I should have expected it cause it was designed for river fishing. Maybe not insane rivers but I can see it handling almost anything you throw at it. Lol

they are difficult to make, i would have to drive up an hour plus to film it then come back, maybe we do it again sometime, i have more time now, but before it was hard it was either spend the day doing this or go fishing.

well done going out. surfing in is really hard. I just go real slow keeping the butt of the kayak square to the waves. It makes me wonder if the outback 2019 can handle the surf coming in due to the square stern. Where i fish there is no beach. I leave in a rock field and come in on a rock field. falling out is very dangerous. That is why i have the adventure. I need a fast kayak that can easily paddle through waves and can take a hit from the rear. but man do i want to stand up and fish. the adventure is not stable enough for me to stand.

I'm dying to try the outback in these conditions, I think it will flip, any fishing yak will, unless you get a ocean paddle fishing yak

Nice video Aliex...bro you are like way too close to the pier , those pilings are like razor blades, if you accidentally get thrown against one you will be cut up. You can always try going down closer to John Loyd, like in front of where Whiskey Creek is at, on the ocean side of course...Be safe Aliex.

I will keep that in mind. Maybe we can hook up and do the surf test, but at my age (I'm in my mid 60's) we will have to do the test in my boat that has a 115 HP Yamaha on it...hahaha..

Yeah a shorter paddle works better for sure, it is hard for me to match paddles to all these kayaks
