Hi Taylor. I just purchased Nu Skin Sunright, and I found your video very helpful. My question is, what does a swimming pool that has chlorine in it do to your tan. I am Dominican bound soon, so if you could answer that for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much. Angie.

Hi Angie, chlorine shouldn't do anything to the tan specifically. I was in the Dominican last year with other NuSkin girls and we all had our tanner on! For best results, apply the tanner to clean, exfoliated skin. The longer it is in contact with the skin the better the result. The recommended time to wait is 4-8 hours before showering or swimming. You can apply the tanner as often as needed to keep the color you prefer.

How does it look on skin with hyperpigmentation, ie. age spots?

Can I use a tan mitt to apply the gel?

Can you do a video of how to put on sunless tanner on hard areas like feet and elbows? You can tell me over and over but I need some one to show me. I use Nu Skin gel.

Hi Jill! The great thing about the Tanner gel is it goes on like lotion so there's not special way to apply it to feet or elbows. It's just remembering to get those spots. 🙂 Elbows, ankles, feet and the neck (especially blending between the chin & neck) are usually the most forgotten spots.

@TravelingTayler what if you only want to use it on your legs? Does it look odd compared to the rest of the body and I also use a body lotion at night called Amlactin Daily Moisturizing Lotion which had Lactic Acid. Would that cause an issue when it's on including even a body wash that had Glycolic Acid in it.

Hi Taylor what about freckles ?? Does it make them look orange and darker ?

No, my cousin who has freckles uses it with no issues.

One of my tricks is to put on Banana Boat 30 SPF and ride the motorcycle for about 2 hours, and the next day I have a dark tan.

No, for best results you want to wait 4-8 hrs before showering or swimming. It does best when applied to clean exfoliated skin so many times I put it on after my shower

Leaves my hands really orange from applying the tan and when the tan gets wet and your wipe it dry the tan comes off !

Are you using the official NuSkin product? If you wash your hands after applying it does not stain them. And as long as you let the gel dry after applying (5-10 mins) it doesn’t come off from showering or going into the pool.

do you exfoliate first?

You don't have to, but it helps the tan last longer.

How do you get out of your white clothes

It doesn't stain your clothes so you shouldn't have any issues. In the couple of instances it's gotten on my clothes while I was applying in a rush, I just washed it off right away with warm water & soap. It dries in a couple of minutes after putting it on so the window for it to get on your clothes is very small. Sometimes I like to put it on after I shower to avoid this all together.
