You're right Gashumba I personally Nanyumba I came very far in my life time. My late father had fifty children by the time we pulled his casket to the grave. I was the only boy with late three sisters on my mother side. Separation rose between father and mother. Father decided to remain with me but I underwent tough life with my step mothers. Step mothers could serve ten rounds on a meal when I am still waiting until father spots from his high table and abusing, retrieving sorts of events until lastly gives me part of his meals to avoid disappointing step mothers. Later on he planted me to his friends where I grew in difficult type of life which I can't mention today. During my holiday season I used to spend time with father and a good messenger ferrying money to Indians where he used to get good for his shop.The father could not trust my old brothers with money except me which developed hetrate with brothers and step mothers. The father had a lovely dog for over eighteen years. But one time step mothers stored a wonderful meal for me which was unusual to me.I never ate the meal and risked to give to lovely dog.Shockingly and surprisingly the dog was pronounced dead the following day. I came from a remote school which has never taken a student by then outstanding school in busoga Mwiri. But still my father with influence of step mothers was very reluctant although my primary teachers suggested Busoga College Mwiri by force against the will of my father. Busoga College Mwiri drove to my father 's house after my failure to report to school. After discussion the principal decided to go with me and solicited financial support from local and central government. Briefly when life become difficult in Busoga after frustrations by my step mothers and brothers no to go ahead with studies I decided to take my journey to Kampala where landed a night watchman in Makindye for over four years although the gentleman was slightly a relative but by then life was difficult in Kampala for any one to accommodate you.Good enough the home was a connection center for big shorts like permanent Secretary and Town Clerk by then both men developed interest in me and landed to be casual porter and later on promoted to office messenger in the office of the Town Clerk coordination with the office of the President by then Obote. The trust my father put in me from childhood still continued to the Town Clerk and the President. For five years on my working team they used my education standards were above them and see no reason why we're on the same pay roll. But simply the top brush could not promote me losing a trust person. Eventually I was promoted and held high office in Kampala City Council by then. In 1994 Hon Richard Kaijuka former minister of commerce and Industry and late Joshua Mayanja former minister of finance appointed me in conjunction with Uganda Investment Authority and Uganda National Chamber of Commerce to be among trade delegation in Singapore, Thailand Malasia, Indonesia, Japan, India, Swiden, Denmark, Netherlands Germany Belgium and Britain. And when AGOA came still I was appointed to play a significant role to promote trade between America and Uganda. Right now I am in USA coming to seventeen years and my last son graduated in Harvard university two years back. Politically I am an active member which has exposed me to high political figures in USA. Finally, soon I am coming back to my ancestral country Uganda and hopefully to promote Uganda to a civilized world. Thanx Gashumba and Faridah Nakazibwe. God bless Uganda. George Nanyumba.

george I went again and again and re-read your story And It was so so inspiring and I just wanna meet such men like u who are empowering others ..Goerge I've just come to the States but I believe 100% that situations come to show us ways out of the situations we are in .. I would love to meet u one day Ssebo ..I live in Los Angeles . May the Good Lord surround u with his hand.

BUT i do not agree with u on mummy's boy being destroyed. noooooooo take an example me and my two friends we are mummy's boys, but no community, no where i have travelled in most continents i have gone that am not liked. i do everything and my way of life people say am mummy's boy. it depends on the kind of mum u have. my mum she is a very hard working inspiring woman. i have been in communities and changed their way of life.
