Thats Miss Rona, Ken Veney's wife. Ken made cylinder heads for Top Fuel and Top Alcohol engines for many years. I used his heads on my cars in Top Fuel and Funny Car for years, real nice people, from nearby Wadsworth, Ohio

Hello from Australia. We don’t have this sport here, so I don’t know much about it. Can you explain a couple of things. Firstly, how do they connect multiple engines to the final drive ? Details ? Secondly, why such tiny wheels on the front of these vehicles ?

+xrayracer1 Crankcase venting.] Oil vapour. Blowby. All piston engines have an event called 'blowby'. It is the combustion gasses bypassing the pistons because, of course, they cannot be totally sealed. The pressure is built in the crankcase and if it weren't vented, the crankcase would explode. So, it is vented.

Crankcase ventilation. Lots of blow-by in ultra high hp engines.

good video. i find it odd that there were no breaks in this, multiple engines is just calling for problems, people with one engine can barely keep them running sometimes. im sure you know what i mean.

yes our tractor is called IRON HORSE. where did you see us pull at? we pull in the 9300lbs class. there's a few of our wins on my channel if you wanna see them. thank again for the compliment. pulling Def isn't a rich man's sport...lol.

Yes for unlimited modified tractors its 8 tons in the weight box and then the sled is about a ton so about 9 tons in all

Yeah it just depends what one of those tractor hooked up.with the track. N got the traction.

They have to putting a lot of horse power with all them motors

Rules are 8,000 lbs, 30.5 wide tire, 18ft from center of rear wheel to furthest spot forward. Basically that's it. It's a run what ya brung and hope brung enough.

5 big block v8s with superchargers... you are probably looking at 3000+ hp

most of them are making between 9 and 12k hp.

each one probably makes 2,500 hp at minimum, for the v8s at least. not sure what kinda power those v12 aircraft engines can put down

Much much louder. You can hear them about a mile n half away. Both are awesome to watch though.

with all due respect, you're talking about some 30 years back. a lot of things happened the past 3 decades. like dragraces, tracktor pulling is an awesome kind of motorsport. specially indoor pulling is nice(many times went to, rotterdam/ahoy, arhem/gelredome, zwolle/ijsselhal) in the netherlands we have a saying, I"d rather hear the sound of 2 times 12 milk churns, than the sound of 4 times 8 vegetable cans in other words, griffon rules..........
