Due to the derailment in East Palestine, OH, NS detoured 28X down the Southern Tier, Hudson Secondary, and NYSW Southern Division to NJ. I got them daylight on the CNYK, NS, and NYSW at Lackawaxen, Pond Eddy, the Erie signal at Sparrow Bush, Otisville Tunnel, Wallkill, Chester, Warwick, Ogdensburg, Newfoundland, Smiths Mills, and Wyckoff

Awesome chase video Mike, my favorite scene/clip is your Thumbnail as well, really awesome with the train coming out of the tunnel at Otisville... You got a better shot than those that had to get right next to the tunnel too IMO...

Thank you Adam! It was moving slow, that’s why I cut the clip a bit. I thought that came out fantastic as well. Rarely does a stack train pass through Otisville Tunnel anymore

Thanks John! Correct, PSE&G accidentally put the wires just a few inches too low when they hung wires there recently. It has since been fixed

Great Train chasing ! curious why NS28X didn't head south thru Suffern main line? NS runs up to Campbell Hall for interchange. Trackage rights issues maybe?

Thank you! It was a crew issue. They used an NYSW crew from Binghamton all the way to Marion Yard. There were no spare NS crews on this day
