You cannot see his hand in the video, hence there is no proof his hand ever comes away from the ball. You rewatch it. The Bunker cannot over rule the refs call, without proof.

Agree that there was ball movement. Based on camera angle cooler heads agree no try but if it was given a try it would also be controversy. So what is the box meant to do when you see the ball bobble even slightly?

Poor old Titans, I couldn’t quite believe that final decision. Nonetheless a brilliant magic round thriller!

right call although wording was wrong, he wasn't making a tackle, he stripped the ball which he is allowed to do in a try scoring situation.

Bunker controversy??? If the try was allowed it wouldve been a Bunker controversy anyway! Why can't it be like the old days, if the ref says try, then it's a try, we move on!

Final non allowed try .. was a try every day of the week.. 🤷‍♂️

Benefit of the doubt is given. More likely to score the try. Nowadays with how officiating is, you couldn't even point to a call last week and apply it to the next.

How can a player have both hands around the neck of an opposing player, get the penalty reversed & have him sent off? Madness, absolute madness. The Knights deserved that victory.

This refereeing is ridiculous. I'm done with the NRL. Des should've taken his team off the field after that disallowed try. Fans should start boycotting games. Players and coaches should do something about this refereeing. On the field product is great. Games are great, players are great but management is destroying the league.
