Quite proud of my mighty Bulldogs. To play as well as we did against a quality Panthers team, and score a couple of tries either side, is quite a feat. Well done boys!

Yeah was worried when I saw Cleary bail but then again he hasn't had any great origins so might not be the end of the world. Hynes has been on fire this year, super impressive so easy replacement option. Lets be real tho in the grand scheme, the two heads will find a way to beat us.

@@qcthesxientist This is exactly the problem. Panthers have produced so many great players that there is no way they can fit under a cap, therefore they offload them to other struggling teams. When these teams start to do better, they so it's just because of the Panthers players. But looks look through the Bulldogs team. 1. Tracey(2nd choice fullback for Sharks who was on the open market, playing great, great buy) 2. Kiraz(local junior, really good player) 3. Xerri(first team to give him a chance after a 4 year ban) 4. Crichton(Yes Panthers player) 5. Addo-Carr(Fortmer storm star) 6. Burton(Yes a Panthers player, however we had already signed him before his great 2021 season so we clearly were not just poaching Panthers players, we looked ahead) 7. Hutchison(Roosters reserve grader) 8. King(Reserve grader for Storm, turned into reliable first-grader) 9. Mahoney(From the Eels) 10. Hughes(First grade debut with the Bulldogs) 11. Kikau(panthers player) 12. Preston(player that couldn't get a chance at the Roosters, player of the year last year) 13. Mann(older player signed from Knights) 14. Hayward(local junior) 15. Curran(Naturally occurring signing from Warriors) 16. Morrin(local junior) 17. Salmon(From Eels than played for Panthers, not like he was a Panthers star and could have got a similar calibre of player from a lot of players) So All in all that's 2 panthers 'poached', Only 6 players were consistent first-graders at previous clubs when we signed them. 5 players with debuts at Bulldogs(including Xerri who hadn't played in 4 years) and reserve graders at other clubs. I'm sure most of the only clubs would have a reasonably similar spread of players.

Panthers had like 5 more penalties and 4 more 6 agains and we still matched em for 2 try's each. Not to mention we butchered a number of try's. Don't sleep on them doggies mate they coming
