@ 9:10, how is c-spine being held during the log-roll while ventilations are being provided? (As c-spine was being held with legs pre log-roll)

Glasgow coma scale (based on 15 point system with 3 being the lowest score possible). AVPU- Responds to painful stimuli (which is where the P comes from). You get two different answers from these but they mesh together to examine the patients neurological/mental status.

I am curious, @ 2:10 you state you will use the jaw thrust maneuver, but how do you do that while the partner is holding c-spine?

can be done by same person maintaining manual cspine: while holding head in neutral position, place your thumbs over * "apples of cheek" ( * assuming you have no fx to the orbital regions) and while depressing slightly downward with thumbs, lift up on angles of jaw with first two fingers of both hands, which should move base of tongue upwards. Takes some practice but with time, youll get it down and will see and feel jaw thrusting upward. If no gag reflex is present, have third rescuer or primary rescuer insert an OPA & assist ventilations when checking "breathing" if pt shows signs of inadequate ventilation. Placing pts head in neutral position between your knees while you are ventilating is also an optional technique Ive learned in the field, that a single rescuer can manage, prior to getting c collar in place. Like the saying goes,"practice makes perfect" and the more you do, the more "muscle memory" you create
