You don't know how politicians work, they're very smart. Do you really think Ken's team truly want bawumia to win? Then you're not smart enough. Ken is part of the party and he needs the party to become president. He must also let the party know upon all that happened, he is still a party man and will campaign. He also needs to keep touch with the base to always be a formidable person to take the mantle later. If he had organized a press conference announcing his readiness to campaign, a lot of his followers will vote for bawumia and can make him win. So he just joined anyhow with the motive of having touch with the base. The main guys who were campaigning for Ken will continue the agenda of making Ghanaians reject bawumia, Ken can't do that.
